And so it begins. I love it. An Android tablet that is better in EVERY way than the iPad 2 even betting it in price and thinness. I think this is defintely going to be a great seller. Not to mention they will soon have their own MP3 players too. Samsung will have TVs, Computers, Cameras, Cellphones, Tablets and MP3s, things are definitely looking good for Samsung.

Yup, this looks like the real challenge to the iPad 2. I just hope Sammy doesn't get all full of themselves and prices the Galaxy Tab 8.9 at iPad levels. About a $100 less than iPad 2 at all feature points (with deeper discounts for on-contract purchases) and available for purchase in April could slow the growth of the iPad 2 sales.

Correction - I re-read the article and saw the June availability. If it could be available sooner, that would really help sales. June is going to start to see leaks about the iPad 2.5. If Sammy could get the Galaxy Tab 8.9 shipping in April, they will have the period up to June or July before the leaks start on the iPad 2.5 to go head-to-head with Apple. Apple is going to try to saturate the tablet market and then start leaking about the iPad 2.5 to pause the market until the iPad 2.5 is released. Remember when the reliable leaks started for the iPad 2? It will repeat in the summer.

that's just sick! thinner than the iPad 2, 8.9 inch (which is what i like coz i don't want a 7 incher coz it's gonna look like an oversized smartphone and also don't what 10 inch), running Honeycomb but with TouchWiz UX (i don't like Honeycomb's UI), good specs (like the dual core, enough camera for me), and a supppeerrr cheap price (for the specs and all) .. totally buying this when it comes out!
