The rugged version of Samsung's flagship Android smartphone is now available in the manufacturer's backyard of South Korea. the same phone cost just 450 USD in my country, without telco contract.
south Korean phones are really expensive??

probably not the same... you probable get the Snapdragon 600, 8MP camera, and 16 GB...
BUT I still agree with you that $854 is too much... Z1 is cheaper...
