i will say it is a bit much but its exciting because unlike windows they can actually look forward to change and something new instead of hey new Nokia that works just like your HTC Samsung LG and zte phone that most likely won't get windows 8

Because the galaxy s3 phone is the most anticipated device of the year!
The both the s1 and s2 have impressed alot of people with the beautiful Amoled screen and amazing specs that make the phone the most powerfull android device that hit the market last year.. we can only imagine how it will do this year! thats why people make such a big deal :)

Anticipation should not be the indicator of a products value, ie iPhone 4S. As far as I can tell, the specs are not revolutionary but in the phone world its really a matter of how those specs are packaged. Samsung has a known history of producing stellar phones and that makes them the company to watch for their next device, plain and simple. However, only the willfully blind can ignore the similarities between the heightened anticipation for the next big android phone and the next iphone.

I would say in my opinion is has a better track record than HTC and the past couple of builds touchwiz has less hold on android than sense plus people seem to enjoy the interface
