Dude, you can import any phone you want and make it work with At&T. You can buy a Galaxy Nexus from google for $400 bucks and just use your SIM. Verizon peps can't do that. They're stuck with whatever offerings the carrier has.

Don't say that just yet. While it all sounds good, just remember, they are notorious for changing things. It sounds great on paper for sure, but honestly, I'm a realist. We'll see.

The Galaxy SIII coming to verizon is some of the best news I've heard all year. I was mad about verizion not getting a HTC One varient, and that little 4 inch droid incredible 4g LTE is too small, if this is true all I can do is :).

Have you seen the S4 benchmarks even once..
It easily beats the quad core (okay 4-plus-one) Tegra 3 while only having 2 cores and is really very much power efficient than any other quad core or even the dual cores out there.
No. of cores does not matter, but the performance surely does!!

Hate to be a Debbie Downer but since this BGR doesn't have an official source on this I'm just going to have to rule it as "fascinating rumors".
The multiple Razrs might actually be true. We've seen leaked shots of a possible "Razr HD" and already Verizon has discontinued sales of a 32GB Droid Razr (possibly to make room).

Ok, I understand why people are pumped for the GS3 and its quad core chip...but for those of us here in the states aren't we getting a dual core version anyway??? From what I understand Samsung's quad core chips arent LTE Compatible; Only the international versions will be Quad. Please feel free to educate me if I am completely wrong!

You are right, SGS3 for the US will most likely be an S4 dual core processor. That's according to Tmonews, and they say that came from a Samsung exec.

now does this shut you complainers up? yeah, you know who you are. you wanted the Note and wanted to know why Verizon didn't offer one? here's the reason. Verizon usually has good reasons for what they do. this HTC is going to be immensely superior to the first generation Note. as for the report of "multiple Razrs" i just hope that Moto doesn't over saturate the market with Razrs too fast like they did all those years ago with the original.

dam i just switched from sprint a few months ago to vzw and love the service and my htc rezound is sweet kinda jealous tho that these new phones coming out are so much better lol but yeah sprint sucks my evo before at work would always say time without a signal like over 50% of the time... since switching to vzw i only ever see 0% for time without a signal under the cell standy by im talking about

HTC will rise cuz HTC is the best dont mind what samsung is doing HTC released quad core Tegra 3 but whats important is HTC and Snapdragon always blend there will be quad core S4s with Adreno 320 from HTC thats after GS3 lunches. HTC released Tegra 3 just becasue they had to do something to keep them alive for now and not remain dormant since quad S4 wasent ready. People are gonna see more phones like the one x from HTC with 4.7 inch with far more than what Tegra 3 has to offer.

I'm glad that the Note will have some competition. But, what is so huge about a 5" screen? Oh, well. The HTC model ought to arrive just about the same time as the Galaxy Note 2. Ok, I can't take it anymore, I gotta speak on this. After reading every post, let me say this:
If it is true that VZW is going to get the S3, great. If they get the HTC rival concept to the Galaxy Note, Great. Even if we get the Note 2, Great. If they get the Razr's, well, for those of you who like those models, then Great. However, lets call a spade a spade here. You know what these are? Answer: They are all RUMORS. That's right. Rumors. Now don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to say I don't want all this to come to VZW. I definitely do. I don't want to go to AT&T just because of a phone. I want to stick to VZW. However, let me say that I am a REALIST. I will believe in this report when I see the phones officially announced or something concrete is shown that it's definite.
Now here is what I don't understand. If the HTC concept is true, Why can't HTC make a 5.3" or hell, a 5.5" screen? Why does it have to be 5"? Then there's not much difference between that and the Nexus. HTC, let me give you some advice: Put in a battery 3500maH or higher and make it 5.3" and higher.
So lesson of the day is that before some of you assclowns here who suck Verizon's you know what and worship them by bowing down to Verizon this and Verizon that, lets be f'n real here, and you suckas know who you are, like this one Mark on here everyday cause he has no life who thinks he's royalty when he's just an assclown, when it comes out and ready to roll, then that's when you talk, cause honestly homey, your an afterthought just like your life.
Until then, it's all blah blah blah until it comes out for real.

so if the .35 inch difference between the Nexus and this HTC isn't a big deal why is it a big deal between the Note and the HTC? you need to just get a Tablet and end this. go get yourself a Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) for $250.
