Gcombs...now that I find somewhat consoling. Thumbs up!

Dude, you can import any phone you want and make it work with At&T. You can buy a Galaxy Nexus from google for $400 bucks and just use your SIM. Verizon peps can't do that. They're stuck with whatever offerings the carrier has.

Don't say that just yet. While it all sounds good, just remember, they are notorious for changing things. It sounds great on paper for sure, but honestly, I'm a realist. We'll see.

The Galaxy SIII coming to verizon is some of the best news I've heard all year. I was mad about verizion not getting a HTC One varient, and that little 4 inch droid incredible 4g LTE is too small, if this is true all I can do is :).

wow tough choices. You get at least 1 phone from each manufacturer. Really good phones and about time.

AWESOME!!!!! I just hope verizons version will still retain the Exynos proccessor not crappy s4.

I can see Verizon charging $299 while AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile at the $199 price.
60. Sangeet (Posts: 232; Member since: 21 Apr 2012)
Have you seen the S4 benchmarks even once..
It easily beats the quad core (okay 4-plus-one) Tegra 3 while only having 2 cores and is really very much power efficient than any other quad core or even the dual cores out there.
No. of cores does not matter, but the performance surely does!!

Hate to be a Debbie Downer but since this BGR doesn't have an official source on this I'm just going to have to rule it as "fascinating rumors".
The multiple Razrs might actually be true. We've seen leaked shots of a possible "Razr HD" and already Verizon has discontinued sales of a 32GB Droid Razr (possibly to make room).
92. Wildmanfan (Posts: 238; Member since: 15 Jul 2010)
And that's how people should take it. They are RUMORS. Nothing more. In the cell phone world, your better off being a Realist because nothing is in stone until you see it in front of you. About the Razr's, I've said this for the longest time, a new lineup will be out soon called the Motorola Droid Afterthought.

Reading this had me so excited... Then I looked at the source. :(
God I hope this is a true article... The SGSIII if nothing else.
43. dillonc (Posts: 6; Member since: 26 Apr 2012)
Ok, I understand why people are pumped for the GS3 and its quad core chip...but for those of us here in the states aren't we getting a dual core version anyway??? From what I understand Samsung's quad core chips arent LTE Compatible; Only the international versions will be Quad. Please feel free to educate me if I am completely wrong!
P.S. This is my first post so go easy on me!
49. gwuhua1984 (Posts: 1237; Member since: 06 Mar 2012)
You are right, SGS3 for the US will most likely be an S4 dual core processor. That's according to Tmonews, and they say that came from a Samsung exec.

No Source = Bs Rumor (To Me)
Not having anything to back what bgr put up is just an imagination
Im so dissappointed. I read the article thinking it was to good to be true. Guess it is......

Pray that INSANE HTC news is true !!
58. Sangeet (Posts: 232; Member since: 21 Apr 2012)
1080*1920 on a 5 inch screen
I almost fainted.. Good that i didn't had an heart attack cuz then i wouldn't be able to see the device hitting the shelves if i would be dead..
61. KingKurogiii (Posts: 5685; Member since: 23 Oct 2011)
now does this shut you complainers up? yeah, you know who you are. you wanted the Note and wanted to know why Verizon didn't offer one? here's the reason. Verizon usually has good reasons for what they do. this HTC is going to be immensely superior to the first generation Note. as for the report of "multiple Razrs" i just hope that Moto doesn't over saturate the market with Razrs too fast like they did all those years ago with the original.

Hey, listen, lets not start kissing ass now and jump for joy. These are rumors and they should be handled as such: RUMORS. Lets not give false advertising here. I'm a REALIST. I will believe it when I see them step their asses up and show it out and ready to roll. So before you talk all that s**t about Verizon this, Verizon that, lets wait till fall and then lets see what the deal is.

dam i just switched from sprint a few months ago to vzw and love the service and my htc rezound is sweet kinda jealous tho that these new phones coming out are so much better lol but yeah sprint sucks my evo before at work would always say time without a signal like over 50% of the time... since switching to vzw i only ever see 0% for time without a signal under the cell standy by im talking about
68. Chronos (Posts: 258; Member since: 25 Feb 2012)
Despite not liking the five inch screen size, the specs of that HTC smartphone is just outstanding.
70. jibraihimi (Posts: 714; Member since: 29 Nov 2011)
This HTC device will be the beast to beat if it launches for the holiday season..........
73. bolaG (Posts: 468; Member since: 15 Aug 2011)
HTC is looking good!!! Now if this phone also keeps good battery life I'm all for trying it out. Otherwise I'm going with a Razor Maxx HD or SGSIII
74. itzmando (Posts: 114; Member since: 17 Oct 2011)
Would it be pointless to get an S3 even though I just got my Galaxy Nexus in December?
I love my phone, but resolution could be better and sometimes slow at processing apps to open up.
76. babyk (Posts: 261; Member since: 03 Nov 2011)
krait quad core with Adreno 320 will put everything to shame trust me and this will also come in htc phones also
77. babyk (Posts: 261; Member since: 03 Nov 2011)
HTC will rise cuz HTC is the best dont mind what samsung is doing HTC released quad core Tegra 3 but whats important is HTC and Snapdragon always blend there will be quad core S4s with Adreno 320 from HTC thats after GS3 lunches. HTC released Tegra 3 just becasue they had to do something to keep them alive for now and not remain dormant since quad S4 wasent ready. People are gonna see more phones like the one x from HTC with 4.7 inch with far more than what Tegra 3 has to offer.

I'm glad that the Note will have some competition. But, what is so huge about a 5" screen? Oh, well. The HTC model ought to arrive just about the same time as the Galaxy Note 2. Don't you just love competition. Now, if we could only get some real RATE competition between the carriers we'd REALLY have something.
84. Jillsandwich (Posts: 62; Member since: 24 Oct 2011)
Someone explain to me why everyone is getting all excited about something BGR is posting. He has no source-link to this alleged report and you're all acting like it's an official statement from Samsung, HTC and Verizon. Wake up, people! He's full of it! I want Verizon to get some good stuff, too, but I sure as hell ain't gonna put stock in anything Jonathan Gellar posts.
85. master0fursinz (Posts: 104; Member since: 26 Apr 2010)
Holy Mother Please let that HTC have good Battery Life....
87. Owlet (Posts: 447; Member since: 21 Feb 2011)
I'm hoping it's all gonna come true. OMG! I was already considering switching to AT&T for the Note and One X. Please, Verizon, just for once give us what we want!
94. Wildmanfan (Posts: 238; Member since: 15 Jul 2010)
OMG BRO! I was thinking about switching as well. But remember something, all these reports are just rumors. I will believe it when I see it. Verizon has disappointed me greatly.
95. Wildmanfan (Posts: 238; Member since: 15 Jul 2010)
Ok, I can't take it anymore, I gotta speak on this. After reading every post, let me say this:
If it is true that VZW is going to get the S3, great. If they get the HTC rival concept to the Galaxy Note, Great. Even if we get the Note 2, Great. If they get the Razr's, well, for those of you who like those models, then Great. However, lets call a spade a spade here. You know what these are? Answer: They are all RUMORS. That's right. Rumors. Now don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to say I don't want all this to come to VZW. I definitely do. I don't want to go to AT&T just because of a phone. I want to stick to VZW. However, let me say that I am a REALIST. I will believe in this report when I see the phones officially announced or something concrete is shown that it's definite.
Now here is what I don't understand. If the HTC concept is true, Why can't HTC make a 5.3" or hell, a 5.5" screen? Why does it have to be 5"? Then there's not much difference between that and the Nexus. HTC, let me give you some advice: Put in a battery 3500maH or higher and make it 5.3" and higher.
So lesson of the day is that before some of you assclowns here who suck Verizon's you know what and worship them by bowing down to Verizon this and Verizon that, lets be f'n real here, and you suckas know who you are, like this one Mark on here everyday cause he has no life who thinks he's royalty when he's just an assclown, when it comes out and ready to roll, then that's when you talk, cause honestly homey, your an afterthought just like your life.
Until then, it's all blah blah blah until it comes out for real.
98. KingKurogiii (Posts: 5685; Member since: 23 Oct 2011)
alright then Mr. Realist. i better not see you take ONE rumor seriously. i'm holding you to that.
so if the .35 inch difference between the Nexus and this HTC isn't a big deal why is it a big deal between the Note and the HTC? you need to just get a Tablet and end this. go get yourself a Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) for $250.
sweetheart, i AM Royalty. ;)
the only ways you'd know if someone was on everyday was if one, you were on everyday to see that person was on everyday or two, you go through the comment sections on many different articles and take note of the timestamps from the person's comments either of which makes you look like just as much a low life as you're saying that person is...whoever he/she is. xD
101. Wildmanfan (Posts: 238; Member since: 15 Jul 2010)
SEE! I GOT YO ASS! YOu proved my point right here. I didn't even put your name on this and all of the sudden you start getting defensive. It proves you got no life. If your weren't offended, then why are you of all people responding to this? I GOT'CHA. LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL!
102. KingKurogiii (Posts: 5685; Member since: 23 Oct 2011)
yeah, i figured it out. wanna know how? because your post was much like mine and it was right after you commented on mine soooo...yeah, pretty obvious who that was for and even if it wasn't i would've said the same thing because like i pointed out you really didn't think through what you were saying.
oh and i have a life bro. it's called having a smartphone. :P
103. Wildmanfan (Posts: 238; Member since: 15 Jul 2010)

100. RORYREVOLUTION (Posts: 3072; Member since: 12 Jan 2010)
Remember last year when we were told Verizon was getting the SGS2? I will believe it when I see it.
105. KingKurogiii (Posts: 5685; Member since: 23 Oct 2011)
i remember we got the Nexus instead and that explained the lack of an SII. :P
107. Wildmanfan (Posts: 238; Member since: 15 Jul 2010)
I agree. I'll believe in it when I see it.
