if it looks like Note 8 it will disappoint lots of people who are waiting for it for a long time.

They will once again fail to impress with the design if it looks like a note 8

The Note 8 isn't revealed yet so how can the form factor disappoint?

What do you mean by "once again"?
GS3 wasn't that bad in terms of design and it has been proved by more than 40mils of people
Haters only keep saying that it is ugly because that's all that they can say against GS3

They choose it because it is the best of Android. The design is slightly towards the ugly side for most of the people, including me.
Don't you think? A mid-end Xperia P has better design than it!

Design-wise, the GSIII is better than almost every Xperia, with its curves that fit perfectly in the hand.
Aesthetic is another story and is subjective anyway.
Build quality is poor though.

Sorry I don't buy it
Sony has good design too.
But GS3 IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO UGLY
If you think it is ugly, that's your opinion.
Yes it doesn't have good build quailty
But it does have removal battery and SD card

the only design issue i have is your forced to slap a case on it because it is a slippery device with that palstic. if it had the rubber feel that motorola and some htc devices had then id say my gs3 is the perfect phone for me...except make it 5inches :)

I agree. I love Samsung the features are amazing, I even have GS3 but their design is not really good. Even every galaxy phone looks similar, only the screen size makes the different.

sooner better
and believe me it wont be disappointing .

please make it waterproof, its just a good thing to have. i bet that feature will never be released to america except for the ugly durable smartphones because carriers want your phone to be fragile that way you are forced to have their worthless insurance!

I'm feeling a bit nervous for the design aspect of the Galaxy S IV, but I'm definitely hoping it will be an upgrade compared to the Galaxy S III which isn't bad at all.

i think the note 8 will be a flop as it will have last years specs!!! at least they could have added the nexus 10 CPU and GPU with atleast super AMOLED+ 720p dislpay as they have done with (galaxy tab 7.7) or a Full HD Green LCD!!! and the leaked design shows its a 8 inch galaxy s3/note 2 that design is good as long as its a phone they should have designed like a tab!!! totally disappointed with samsung (by seeing the note 8 leaks)!!!

If it is priced reasonably well (like $300) then it wont be a flop considering how antiquated the ipad mini is, Samsung has a knack of pricing their tablets too steeply awful...I hope they wont make the same mistakes as they dod last year
10. rustyimtiaz posted on 19 Feb 2013, 03:37 0
Note is premium image created by samsung so the specs must be the recent ones!!! and if they price it around $300 with the leaked specs then it wont be flop!!! but samsung must remember google is going to refresh its nexus line and apple ipad mini will be refreshed too so they should go for a price tag of $400-$450 with the specs i mentioned as they can refresh there note 8 after a year!! but if they stick to leaked specs, then they should refresh it after 6 months and the note 8 owners will be frustrated this can cause samsung to lose some customers!!!

I'm with nikenturn. The smartphone Notes are flagships, but it seems that the tablets aren't necessarily. Besides, if the price is right, then it doesn't really matter. Also, your overuse of exclamations doesn't help to drive your points across any better!!!

who cares about the note 2, i only care about the phones...after all this is PHONE ARENA!

vs. Apple's premium chassis with outdated innards?
21. aads786 posted on 19 Feb 2013, 07:41 1
Samsung is doing well at the moment, but should give people what they want .They should split the handset production (e.g) make a normal galaxy s4 with its normal plastic materials & a premium one with metal bezel & all the bells & whistles, thus covering all the people needs. Then Apple fans wouldn't have a foot to stand on.
