No my man. I still don't believe sales show that Android beats iOS. Over the years I have seen too many, trust me too many people buying the iPhones just to show it off without actually knowing how to use all the features (however limited they are). And when I used to show them things I could with my N8 like hotspot or direct HDMI output or I show them the level of customization I have on my S2 they're blown out of their minds and think "Hmm, how can I do this on my 4S?". I have been amazed by how people can blindly follow Apple just as a brand or status symbol.

Although, now I have seen many more people look towards Android simply coz they were bored out of their minds using iOS or maybe it was even because of Sammy's effective ad campaign promoting its flagship, we'll never know. 5 of my friends bought the S3 this Thanksgiving and I was the one pushing them towards it showing its differences from the iPhone5 and believe me they are very very happy with it. They've found how awesome and intuitive things can be when they can share a webpage or apps just by touching their phones through Android Beam and now no one wants to go back to the dull app-drawer that is iOS.

I'm not saying iOS is a waste. I like some aspects of iOS like its fluidity and ease of use and integration of all of its services but in the end its just not for me. I like freedom.. freedom from being forced to use iTunes, freedom of installing apps from wherever I want, freedom of hotspot, and the freedom of endless levels of customization.

You can deny all you want but Google will take over the world sooner than you want to admit. I know its scary but I think the days of SkyNet are approaching but no one's really worried if the robots appear in the form of those green little droids!

this is what shows how much of a fanboy you are too

''You can deny all you want but Google will take over the world sooner than you want to admit. I know its scary but I think the days of SkyNet are approaching but no one's really worried if the robots appear in the form of those green little droids!''

seriously cant you get into reality ...its pathetic you really enforce the stereotypical view people have of those who like tech......the classic living in a basement image.

no ones taking over the world get a grip

Till Google fights for our freedom its OK ;-)
Apple fights just for money: because of his bribing we all in the world pay higher prices for ebooks.......

cant be rational with deluded people like you, google could not give a damn about freedom, there looking to make money just like apple, samsung, nokia etc none care about you

but you keep living in your deluded world, i will live in reality where all companys just want to find ways to get more money out of us what ever way possible

This isn't the same case because, Apple still make 60% of global mobile phone profit while only having 14% of the global market share.

If feeding such high profit margin isn't stupid i don't know what else does!

It isnt just a matter a biase towards the Samsung Galaxy S3, if any other manfacturers come out with something worth owning and beating out sales of the iPhone 4S or iPhone 5, then I will gladly be happy for them as well. Its time that Apple starting putting intelligence in their "smart" phones. A smartphone isnt entirely about user friendliness, its about innovative software, hardware, sophisticated looks, and being able to do what other phones cannot do. Its getting to the point where basic phones can do just as much as an iPhone. Until they can raise the bar and stop making pretty phones and start making smartphones, they will fall behind the very smart Asian Electronics Manufacturers.

Very nice :)

Not at all suprised about the Lumia920 situation, its history repeating itself, as PA has said, i just knew it really wasn't actually selling as well as MS and Nokia would like to believe.

It's not really the same.. Lumia 920 will sell FAR better, in comparison.
There's still a huge number of die hard Nokia fans that were holding up for that phone.
The look at gizmodo phone of the year poll(where the phone is taking an incredible majority of votes) is shocking. I just don't get it.
One would think the bloody thing is the eighth wonder of the world!

yet the n4 been raved about isnt suprising? it doesnt offer anything new

you cant accept a phone not on android is wanted and been talked about more.

its not just nokia fans, many who used to have android are looking at it,its all about choice if they like it and want it whats the problem. why do you have to talk down to anyone not worshipping android yes worshipping your one of the worst

theres no respect on here

You are mentally disabled.
I don't know why I'm even wasting my time with you.
Nexus 4 offered a previously unseen value for the price!
I call that something new.

Nokia 920 is a great phone.

I would have no problem if it won that poll by a reasonable margin.. it would be perfectly understandable.
But 86 percent of votes over everything else?!?
That is just downright crazy, and every sane and objective person would see it as crazy.
Now, by now I definitely realized you are far from being a sane mind , so I really am done wasting my time with you.

''You are mentally disabled. ''

this shows how low you are, your basically internet scum

you keep telling yourself whta you like, the fact is your a fanboy, and face this out of the 2 of us im so much more open minded then you

all you could say about the n4 is price, which proves my point the n4 is average if you take price away but you wouldnt accept that either

done with you on this, your a low life with what you said, i hope you dont find yourself in a situation where you become ''mentally disabled. '' karma might enjoy that

How can you possibly say the nexus 4 doesn't bring nothing new? Compare it to the 920 on wp and the I phone 5.it has way, way more features than any other competitor, and at a incredible price point.

If 920 was in same price band as N4 (allowing about $150 handicap to Nokia for M$ License + Camera etc) i would go for 920. Anything above 500 for 920 pushes me to N4. And i can wait for N4 to be fairly available and in no hurry to buy from black market.

I have both S2 and S3. So I am not surprised that the S3 is still in the lead after 7 months because I know how good it is. I'm surprised by the S2 (great phone indeed), after all this time 4th place. Wow!

Same here, also have S2 and S3, not at all suprised that both are doing so well, the S2 is still better than most smartphones, especially those of rival platforms like WP and BB. :)

Nexus 4 is in the 5th! Even with the extremelly limited availability? Wow! And only was sold for one hour during the month :P
I seriously would love to hear the numbers about how much it actually sold.

Great to see a Nexus raking in great sales though, LG needed this, they have great potential.

Microsoft/Nokia is like a kid who shout "HELP, HELP, there's a WOLF....".

First time, he shout, people willing to help
After a couple of time, no one take this kid seriously.

Microsoft/Nokia/WP is doomed. No one will ever believe Microsoft / Nokia / WP anymore.

whats this based on, it makes no sense

the real question is and i would love an answer why do you all bang on about freedom and choice then use every oppurtunity to slate other choices and through out the classic ''there doomed or ''there history'' lines to those offering something differant..

reality is android fans want everything android, they rant on about freedom but only if its android...they dont want others to have the freedom to choose wp8, iOS, bb10, sailfish etc
