So you're with the 60%. Being with the crowd makes you a follower right?

You got brain wash BY APPLE thinking the iPHONE IS THE KING OF PHONES BUT IT'S NOT.
4. theruleslawyer (Posts: 108; Member since: 23 Apr 2012)
So sometime in the fall then for the US given Samsung's history with doing anything on time...
7. bubbadoes (Posts: 806; Member since: 03 May 2012)
Same look as every Samsung Galaxy and Nexus released to date--plastic and cheap look for a "Flagship phone"...I bet the signal strength will be 1 bar also...Nothing special....it will be $300 on VW only to be reduced to $199 a month later.
8. iDroidx650 (Posts: 75; Member since: 26 May 2010)
It's a good update. but I'm not impressed. Gonna see how they cripple the US Versions. Summer launch goes right in line with iPhone 5 and iOS 6.0. Let's see who is the king of smartphones in 2012.
27. taco50 (banned) (Posts: 5506; Member since: 08 Oct 2009)
I have to agree the US carriers have a habit of messing up a good phone.
10. dcgore (Posts: 225; Member since: 24 Feb 2012)
I'm a little disappointed to be honest. I have to say i am more excited about what RIM showed the other day. I guess we'll see.
78. taco50 (banned) (Posts: 5506; Member since: 08 Oct 2009)
Rims OS looks like it has promise but too little too late?
12. Virile (Posts: 38; Member since: 01 Mar 2012)
Wish i never bought the 4s now i have to pay full price for a real phone. owell can't wait to get rid of my iphone piece of s**t
31. taco50 (banned) (Posts: 5506; Member since: 08 Oct 2009)
Why did you buy a phone you don't want? Or are you just trolling?
32. Virile (Posts: 38; Member since: 01 Mar 2012)
mm no troll, the 4s was my first iphone and i thought it would be a great phone but it turned out to be crap, that is all
51. taco50 (banned) (Posts: 5506; Member since: 08 Oct 2009)
Crap in what way? What specifically do you dislike about it?
54. gwuhua1984 (Posts: 1237; Member since: 06 Mar 2012)
If he doesn't like the phone, then he doesn't like it. Leave the dude alone. LIke you said before, it's a choice. He made a choice to get the iPhone and didn't like it. Just because you see it as gold, doesn't mean others will. Once again, like you said, choice.
62. taco50 (banned) (Posts: 5506; Member since: 08 Oct 2009)
He's trolling. He doesn't even have the phone.
66. gwuhua1984 (Posts: 1237; Member since: 06 Mar 2012)
You don't know he has it or not, and we could just leave it at that. Perhaps he thinks that it is crap because he simply just doesn't like it after owning it, if that the case, no explanation needed. Why ask the specifics when there's no point to defend it to someone who just doesn't like it.
69. Sniggly (Posts: 7305; Member since: 05 Dec 2009)
Why is he automatically trolling if he doesn't hate the phone?
You accept without question if someone hates Android after trying it; why is the iPhone so special?
I just had a guy last week come in and use an upgrade on a secondary line on his account and trade the iPhone 4S in for a Droid Razr because he hated it. And today a business contact I spoke with told me he hates HIS iPhone (despite being a Mac guy) and would rather have his own BLACKBERRY back, because the Blackberry handled attachments much better than the iPhone does.
80. taco50 (banned) (Posts: 5506; Member since: 08 Oct 2009)
Because he gave zero reasons and said it was s**t.
83. gwuhua1984 (Posts: 1237; Member since: 06 Mar 2012)
Why is it necessary to give a reason when they simply doesn't like something. It's not like the reason will change your view or stand on iPhone.
106. remixfa (Posts: 14255; Member since: 19 Dec 2008)
because taco is the self appointed apple defender of the universe.. though we all know he couldn't actually even tech support it by himself.
if someone doesn't like android.. no matter what they say, taco takes it as bible. if they dare not like the iPhone they are a lying troll.
84. Sniggly (Posts: 7305; Member since: 05 Dec 2009)
So because he chose not to give you specific reasons and gave a hyperbolic response, he's trolling?
Maybe it's just given him that much of a negative impression, dude.
Your denialism is reaching a fever pitch, dude. You're acting just like how Gemini used to. That guy insisted that Android fans were all former Nokia Symbian users who would abandon it ASAP.
You, on the other hand, keep insisting that all of us supporting Android do so because of "brainwashing" by carriers we've all worked for.
While we can fathom that for some people, the iPhone is a better solution than what Android has to offer, you can't possibly fathom that anyone might simply like Android better than the iPhone on their own.
Seriously, you're like a Born Again Christian who insists that atheists are seduced and brainwashed by satan or some horses**t.
88. taco50 (banned) (Posts: 5506; Member since: 08 Oct 2009)
Let's leave remix out of this.
If I just came into an article and made that post saying it was s**t, but switched it to SGSII or another high end android phone wouldn't you question the comment and consider me a troll?
My reputation aside of course lol
91. Sniggly (Posts: 7305; Member since: 05 Dec 2009)
Well, I always ask why. I do so in person too, if someone says one phone or another is s**tty when I'm engaged with them as a customer.
I'll only call troll (or say that the position is unjustified) if someone uses their experience with one or two crappy phones to declare that an entire company or operating system sucks.
And where did I mention Remix?
107. remixfa (Posts: 14255; Member since: 19 Dec 2008)
he is talking about The "brainwashed carrier employee " bit. funny that he admits it now after spending the morning denying it had anything to do with me.
taco is the definition of troll and so many other things. the frikkin Corky of trolls. a red headed step child's punching bag..
112. Sniggly (Posts: 7305; Member since: 05 Dec 2009)
Well, it's also bulls**t he's thrown at me in the past.
92. _PHug_ (Posts: 443; Member since: 11 Oct 2011)
So everyone who dislikes the iPhone has to give you a written summary of their feelings?
Why? So you can counter-point or something?
76. Falcon11 (Posts: 5; Member since: 03 May 2012)
He's trolling?! Taco, you're the definition of a TROLL. LOL! Phonearena has been one of my favorite phone websites for about 3-4 years now and all I see you is over here at android articles just trolling away and saying that apple is king and android is " okay" or sucks in other words. Who cares if the guy doesn't like his Iphone? Who cares what he says? Don't be so sensitive. It's sad that you have to reaffirm yourself by saying " he doesn't even have the phone". LOL! God forbid he hates apple.
This is my first post ever by the way, but I just had to jump in after seeing this nonsense.
79. taco50 (banned) (Posts: 5506; Member since: 08 Oct 2009)
I barely ever post on android articles. He's definitely trolling. Let's see:

Yup troll comment.
82. gwuhua1984 (Posts: 1237; Member since: 06 Mar 2012)
To me, it seems you just think he's a troll because he doesn't like his iPhone and thinks it is crap.
86. Falcon11 (Posts: 5; Member since: 03 May 2012)
I see your point but seriously, why even jump in if you "know" the guy is trolling? Do you like just giving in to trolls? You're not Captain Apple. You don't need to defend Apple every time someone says something bad about it. And you maybe right about barley posting on android articles, but I read them all time and I find you alot saying something negative about it or arguing with someone about how apple is king. With all due respect man, Why can't you just except that Apple and Iphones are GREAT but Android is just better? lol. And I guess that the new market share of smartphones don't mean much to you either. Looks like people are starting to "wake up". Wouldn't you say so? lol
90. taco50 (banned) (Posts: 5506; Member since: 08 Oct 2009)
Why does android have to be better? Why can't you accept that it's not better and it's personal preference. Some people like iTunes some don't. When we look at data iPhone customers have higher satisfaction rates, lower return rates, higher loyalty rates.
So better for who? Maybe for you android is better.
People aren't waking up it's just android is much cheaper and floods the market. Apple is going after profit and Google after market share. They're both winning as Google is leading in market share and Apple had 80% of smartphone profits last quarter.
94. Sniggly (Posts: 7305; Member since: 05 Dec 2009)
Well, this is actually a reasonable post. While I still think Android offers more for the money invested, Taco is doing his best to be equitable here (instead of the usual "ANDROID SUCKS AND IS A COPYCAT WAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!")
108. remixfa (Posts: 14255; Member since: 19 Dec 2008)
stealing my talking g points that I've shoved down your throat over n over as u denied it.. while throwing in half truth's. well at least your getting marginally better as a troll.
apple has 2/3rds of its line up at $100 or less and is setting up camp at wallmart and target. you more expensive arguement went out the window a long time ago. as far as flood the market, the iPhone is more availible and cheaper than ever before while still losing market share
having 20 different units available increases choice... but it doesn't mean its going to sell better. people chose android because they find it is a better system. iOS matches it at all pricepoints and nearly all availibility, so the only thing left is OS preference.
124. taco50 (banned) (Posts: 5506; Member since: 08 Oct 2009)
You're a laughingstock. I'll call on you when I need to order some Domino's. Till then off you go.
129. remixfa (Posts: 14255; Member since: 19 Dec 2008)
im glad i could make you laugh almost as much as we all laugh at you. your a sad sad person. Oh, hey, when you order.. grab me a brooklyn style pizza. Nom nom.
122. Falcon11 (Posts: 5; Member since: 03 May 2012)
Ok. First off, Personally I think android is better. I only say that because Android can do everything iOS can and more. But maybe you're right, I shouldn't say " better" maybe I should say "more dynamic". And you're right, it's a personal preference. But I wish you would just practice what you preach with this "peaceful" post of yours. You post so much stuff saying Android copied iOS and you bash android...You know you do. ( doesnt the iphone have a notification center pulldown thing? I wonder where that came from. I can go on and on...) As I said, practice what you preach and if you say "its a personal preference", don't question someone when they say they hated it. That right there my friend, is his personal preference.
Let me ask you, why all this hate for Android? ...with all due respect of course.
125. taco50 (banned) (Posts: 5506; Member since: 08 Oct 2009)
I have no problem with android. Only with the trolls who attack Apple and it's users on every article. As far as android it has copied a lot from iOS. The notification bar I agree Apple got from android.
130. remixfa (Posts: 14255; Member since: 19 Dec 2008)
yet here you are, on the attack. you can go trolling all day everyday and then cry when people give it back to you. your a hippocrit and a liar... and a sad sad little boy.
131. protozeloz (Posts: 5395; Member since: 16 Sep 2010)
Taco has no problems with android?
-Taco Clames android is a copyof iOS.
-Taco Said android phones lag and force close all the time.
-Taco said android battery Suck Like hell
-Taco said everything Google does is copy apple
-Taco said Samsung copies apple all the time
-when apple copies an idea from android manufacturers its was suddenly "the next logic thing to do"
-Nothing android droid is interesting.
-nothing android does is innovative
he wants me to believe that? yeah right
118. InspectorGadget80 (unregistered)
you troll, talk to damn much, and talk trash on every ANDROID phone here on this site. and repeat yourself saying ADNROID copy iOS.
37. gallitoking (Posts: 4718; Member since: 17 May 2011)
perfect example that you pay more with Android.. full price for Android when you got the4S a discount price... dont blame Apple for your poor choices...
39. networkdood (Posts: 6330; Member since: 31 Mar 2010)
Most of us do not pay more for our phones...that would an iphone user and their itunes purchases...
44. gallitoking (Posts: 4718; Member since: 17 May 2011)
well good for you. I was talking about his example
48. taco50 (banned) (Posts: 5506; Member since: 08 Oct 2009)
Actually my iPhone upgrade is free because I sell my old one for more than the new one costs.
71. gwuhua1984 (Posts: 1237; Member since: 06 Mar 2012)
Let's see, if he has an iPhone, then most likely he's with AT&T. To get the SG3, he'll either have to get the phone when it's out on AT&T or buy the international one full price unlocked. I still don't see your point of full price, AT&T offers One X for 199, T-Mobile offers One S for 199. Not to mention the 4S 16GB also sells for 199 on AT&T.
I agree that he made a poor choice by picking the iPhone, because he didn't know whether or not he will like it. I guess he just assume he'd like it. However, I don't see what point you're trying to make pricing wise...
13. bubbadoes (Posts: 806; Member since: 03 May 2012)
Massive OTA's the day after it's released because of ALL the fragmentation across Android....
14. Skidro13 (Posts: 59; Member since: 27 Jul 2010)
So I keep the Galaxy nexus with LTE, google wallet, fast updates, no touch wiz, removable battery, and same amount of cores.
17. rsiders (Posts: 816; Member since: 17 Nov 2011)
Maybe I'll be the only one to say this but from a design perspective, the Galaxy S 2 looks better than the S 3.(notice notice didn't say it looked ugly) But the features and software on the Galaxy S 3 are going to make this the device to own. Good stuff by Samsung.
25. networkdood (Posts: 6330; Member since: 31 Mar 2010)
Yeah, like APPLE, the design maybe getting somewhat stale...I believe we are all used to seeing what is coming out year after and it seems the designs chances only slightly.
But, Samsung did get creative with the Captivate, when you compare it to the non U.S. version, and perhaps there will be some slight visual alterations to the SGS3 U.S. version
24. Leon101 (Posts: 90; Member since: 27 Feb 2012)
WOW this is a shocker for the first time Sammy is gonna release this very very soon!!!
38. networkdood (Posts: 6330; Member since: 31 Mar 2010)
huh, I saw some close up photos of the phone. From the front it looks close to the previous model, but the edging of the phone is gorgeous. The specs are nothing spectacular, but then again, we are spolied with lots of phones being announced. It has good, high-end, Android-like specs. The big changes seem to be the phone capabilities.
40. networkdood (Posts: 6330; Member since: 31 Mar 2010)
So, taco, why are you on these Android articles? We all know that no matter what phone is produced that you will not like it. I have admitted plenty of times that the 4S is a good mid level phone for those who are new to smartphones.
55. taco50 (banned) (Posts: 5506; Member since: 08 Oct 2009)
I was interested to see Samsungs latest offering. iPhone is top of the line smartphone despite your trolling.
56. gallitoking (Posts: 4718; Member since: 17 May 2011)
so this means we wont read you in Apple articles...??? good that you see the iphone as an entry level phone.. I see Android as second best.. your opinion and my opinion..
59. taco50 (banned) (Posts: 5506; Member since: 08 Oct 2009)
Yup android is a good option if your carrier doesn't have an iPhone for 90% of people. There's a few tech geeks I may recommend android too.
63. kshell1 (Posts: 1143; Member since: 05 Oct 2011)
Taco and gallito i respect both of your opinions that you like iphones but i also respect the fact that you was interested to see samsungs latest offering. I myself am 15 and unlike most people my age do not have an iphone i have a sgs2 because i love androids functionality, large screens, and i prefer to be different.
101. gallitoking (Posts: 4718; Member since: 17 May 2011)
I am always interested on what is out there.. Samsung has been improving so much lately.. and thought a good amsung phone canbring me back to Android.. but I was not impressed.. and trust me coming from the Apple side. I was not..
103. kshell1 (Posts: 1143; Member since: 05 Oct 2011)
I like Samsungs devices, I know the iphone 5's GPU will win against this but they have for years not much of a surprise, yet again me thinking the sgs3 is better is just my opinion and the way i like my devices.
109. remixfa (Posts: 14255; Member since: 19 Dec 2008)
the iPhone 5 will not have the super clocked gpu of the ipad3.. its a battery killer. it will have the newer exynos 4212 dual core more then likely for the better battery and slight increase in power. oh.. sorry a5x+ lol
