S III is nice enough, I guess. As are the others. Still, I'll wait until they put all these features and much more into the Galaxy Note 2.

i guess it didn't need to be being that it was compared to the One X.

Ppi comparisons are dumb. Is my 20" 720p tv better than your 60" 1080p?

Whelp we might see a different spec for the US version but that HD Super AMOLED + Alpha Infinity screen definitely makes my eyes bleed from vivid colors.

I could care less about the rivals. the quad core exynos version is hands down the most powerful... and its a massive upgrade from my sgs1. what they did with touchwiz5 was actually very impressive .. I might keep it on for a few days.. lol

Not really, We know how much you love the benchmark, and love Antutu. According to antutu the Exynos score around a 12k plus and the T3 on the one X is around 11k plus. That is only about a 10% increase. According to you if the S4 is slightly better then the 4410, then the Exynos is slightly better then the T3.

can I ask you a question.. was that 4412 benchmark on a commercial unit? was it even done on video to prove its validity no?.OK then.. quit bringing it up like an official score. geesh
15. ngo2dd (Posts: 896; Member since: 08 Jul 2011)
Cry some more, the commercial unit will be very similar. I can bet you that those unit firmware are about as close as you can get.
19. remixfa (Posts: 14255; Member since: 19 Dec 2008)
whats the bet?
history is not on your side. Both the SGS1 and SGS2 under performed at "announcement" compared to the optimization they got before they were commercially released. There was a huge spike in benchmarks and real world performance.

hey remixfa...do you know if this is coming to tmobile?
13. remixfa (Posts: 14255; Member since: 19 Dec 2008)
I would say its safe to assume its going to all carriers. when is anyone's guess other than the touted "June" time frame.
the biggest question is if tmobile gets the exynos or screws us with the s4.

yeah, really the only phone i can think of that has compelling factors over the GSIII is the Droid Razr MAXX (which will hopefully get an up to date "HD" makeover soon). i saw a One S yesterday btw. hardware wise it was pretty nice except for the fact that there was no search key, that was driving me crazy in the browser and the store unit i used was actually pretty laggy at the time. it was quite noticeable in the browser. i blame Sense 4 100% though.

It is a good phone, in fact, one of the best phones now. But it is nothing special, nothing sets it apart, people could predict what it was going to be like and most of those predictions came true, some were not even fulfilled, you can remove the name samsung and write htc and it will be hard to notice. Innovation is reserved for few companies especially Nokia. They come up with unforgettable devices, they set the trend which is to be followed by other manufacturers. They might be going through tough times now but that is because they became complacent not because they can't make good phones. Look at the N9, the 808 Pureview, the N900, the N8, all these phones brought something new, something no one can imagine, no one could even think these things could be done, they invented the smartphone, although some phones have quadcore processors, nokia made the first phone with multiple processors. Please don't misunderstand me, it is a good phone, it's just that samsung didn't make anything new.

Well after seeing the SIII with capacitive buttons and every other phone manufacturer. I wonder if the next Galaxy Nexus will stick with the software buttons. Because it seems no one is going with Google's theme on that idea.

You guys are just a bunch of nags. If my current galaxy note is Soo smooth and feels perfect for my needs then I can say the s3 is a good upgrade. Better camera, faster processor which we will never use its full potential anyways. Samsung has done a good job cos the phone is very sexy looking also.

Safe to say that buisness just picked up for Android??
First off, interesting side by side, Phone Arena. Fun read. But, until we know what type of processor goes to which carrier, isn't all just kinda guess work?
Still, I can hardly wait to start getting to mobile stores and start playing. I am actually quite a bit behind right now: The Galaxy Note, the RAZR MAXX, and a few others have been out and I haven't played with yet. I am starting to go throught withdraws.
