PhoneArena handled the phone with the largest Super AMOLED screen to date, and the thin design is impressive, as well as are the improved brightness and the dual-core chipset upgrade...

wonder what will be the preferred videochatting support app
honestly i can't wait to upgrade to a smartphone with a frontside camera....lol

keeping my fingers crossed on that quadrant score on the exynos----- either there's gotta be something wrong with it because the test is outdated, or it's seriously errors due to that lagfix problem and the phone itself with be competitively as smooth and quick running as the ti omap or even tegra at least.

- hows the 4g
- see a video call quality with 2mp cam
- show us how much better texts look on super amoled plus

and the phone just screams iphone wanna be with that bookshelf looking thing
plus WHERES THE NOTIFICATION LED ????? man quad core and dual core but no Led INDICATOR really stepping over hundreds to pick up pennies man

plus it better have a slider cover for the usb, that was genuis

I do hope that this phone comes to T-Mobile cause they really need to step up their phone game for real. I'm happy with my nexus one but I think its time to move on to something bigger and more powerful now. Lol

I guess there must beaproblem wit quadrant test. sncemy i9000 runs 2200 in quadrant after lagfix when I'm using speedmod kerel ad my friend's nexus s runs 1900 without ay type o change. How can it be possible that a phone with dual core cortex processor and quadcore GPU an 1 GB of ram runs just like nexus s!? one extra core in the processor and 3 ones in the GPU means nothing???? if the benchmark score is true for the original one two (not the prototype version) it means samsung has disappointed a lot of people with a phone laggier than i9000!

dont forget these are just prototypes, they still have some hardware issues. plus, samsung didnt even break any news about their home made dual core processors aside from the name change

I hope they bring it to Sprint soon and leave the keyboard out. it's perfect without one. Also i hope they go all out and get the one with 32gb rom and a sd card slot.If not the LG Optimus 3D looks like a dam good second choice.

ATT better not rape this phone like they did to the original one if they get it. There is really nothing that needs to be changed except maybe the speed of the processor (its probably not a fully developed model for the hands on) and even that is fine already

I'm sure ATT will include bloatware like usual, but that can easily be removed, so thats not a big deal. As to the physical appearance though, I hope it doesn't change for the ATT version.

HDMI ports are not neccesary. Samsung makes a micro USB to HDMI cable for the phone which is capable of outputting 1080p.

you guys made a mistakes! Optimus 3d only come with 4Gb of ram, not 4GB. 4Gb equal 512 mb of ram. Gb = gigabit GB = gigabytes

the results of quadrant test depends not only on the hardware specifications but also on how efficiently an OS is able to use the hardware.
so you cant say anything untill you perform such test on a finished OS for which we will have to wait.

Galaxy S2 has all the best internal features in a cheap plastic body. It will be great if Samsung using an aluminum body like iPhone.

If i have AT&T and i hate my current phone (moto backflip)
and want a powerful phone, should i wait for this or get the inspire?
I mean, will this even come out on AT&T? And if it will, how long will
it take? I have never had a phone with a 1 Ghz processor, so i dont know
weather that would be fine, or weather this dual-core chipset will make
so much of a difference i should wait...becuase i dont want to wait too long,
and this thing didn't do so good on quadrant.

Maybe the file system is RFS. This could explane the low quadrant score. The galaxy s was RFS and a lot of people converted it to ext4. This made the phone a lot faster. I think they make such files system converters for this phone to :)

this phone beats the iPhone 4 by far. but then again the iPhone 5 will be coming out in the next 5 months. i love this phone because of the cameras and video capabilities, how thin it is, the processor speeds, and the UI.
