Should be a free phone since it has no stellar specs

The 'stellar specs' are its ability to withstand all manner of physical abuse. Check the pricing of rugged-ized notebooks.... They don't come cheap, and their hardware specs aren't top-of-the-foodchain, either.

If processor is the same, its mostly a glorified captivate with rugged design. Not bad, but should be more like 75 bucks

it has a dual core 1.5 GHz processor in it so it's much better than a captivate with a rugged design.
