Samsung Galaxy Note is coming to Verizon as the Galaxy Journal?

0. phoneArena 16 Jan 2012, 15:50 posted on

According to the rumors spewing around, Big Red is allegedly in the pipeline to carry a version that’s going to be dubbed as the Galaxy Journal. Frankly, it’s a fitting name when you take into account the kind of functionality you get with the S Pen...

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble but Verizon and Sprint won't see this phone for awhile AT&T got an exclusive on the Note in the U.S.. Your just hearing wild rumors and desparate hopes just awild rumor nothing to see here just move along

Your info isn't correct, these aren't rumors. Even if AT&T has an exclusive, Verizon will get the Note, just like how other companies eventually will get the Galaxy Nexus.

Don't know if this rumor has legs or not but Samsung wouldn't offer AT&T a lengthy, stringent exclusive, ala Apple had w/ AT&T w/ the iPhone. They'd be off their rockers if they did.

What makes you such an informed expert on this subject? If you have proof, prove it or do you just like to flap your keys?

well i have been using s2 for a long 6 months and i dropped it for gnote European version and i feel they are very different and it is because the gnote feels much stable and the colors are not bright they are good and the over all feel has been great no heating problems what so ever and battery life is great over all and i feel its a great upgrade over s2 and mines on 2.3.6 gingerbread out of the box.

funny how the phone that wasn't really publicized is the most intriguing of all samsung phones out the s2 series.

Meh. Galaxy note is A great phone, not My favorite though. I LOVE the Galaxy S II so much! I wish they'd just bring a 4.3" - 4.6" model to Verizon :/

I'm going to keep my nexus and buy a "Journel" as a tablet... lol jk

Sounds like a good move on Verizons part though. Now if they will end that juvenile DROID line up.

Dude, save yourself a few hundred and check out the 5 inch Galaxy Player at Best Buy. I'm not sure about the S pen but the Plyer looks identical to the Note.

Where's the line between phone and tablet? It's so blurred now.

I feel like this size (5.3) is the line. I mean really, anything bigger in size won't be fitting in regular pockets. This should be the line. And to be honest with me, that's fine. All I want is for screen to have an enormous amount of PPI. As long as that keeps getting higher, everything will be alright.

Does a specific line between phone and tablet need to exist? If the line does get drawn at some point. I think we need to see some edge to edge designed screens utilized to see where the road forks between the pair for good.

I like the fact that I can save the money and extra connection fees needed to have a good tablet on 3g or lte with what seems to be a pretty functional alternative. Can't wait to see this in stores so I can make a final decision.

I knew this was coming.....theres no way that Verizon was going to let AT&T have a phone like this and NOT have one for themselves!!

competition between AT&T and Verizon will never die lol

Be kinda funny if this was a bigger success than the Nexus they pumped for 3 months.
Pun completely intended.

verizon could have chosen a more exciting name. "what phone do you have" "a journal" - "what?"

I don't give a f**k if this phone is called the Samsung Wussy. As long as it comes to Verizon!
