Samsung Galaxy Note for AT&T unboxing

0. phoneArena posted on 13 Feb 2012, 16:49

Rummaging through its contents, there’s nothing out of place as we’re given its usual set of documentation, compact style wall charger, and its microUSB cable. Of course, the S Pen is also included, but it’s discretely tucked away in lower corner of the smartphone...

AT&T's network is so much better than it used to be. Much improved, and my galaxy s 2 skyrocket consistently beats my friends galaxy nexus on Verizon. I hear AT&T LTE is faster than Verizon's. Give em a try u never know. I'm n Vegas, and AT&T is better out here... I didn't like Verizon n Vegas.

"my galaxy s 2 skyrocket consistently beats my friends galaxy nexus on Verizon"

At&t's LTE will slow down as more users get LTE phones, just as verizons network did.

i agree at&ts network has improved A LOT i live in los angeles and been to san fransisco yes san fransisco were att has a bad rep and worked fine no dropped calls on my skyrocket data was good also. Been to arizona, vegas , seattle, and lastly puerto rico at&t worked fine in all those places not once did i have a problem. SiSter has verizon went to all those places i mentioned with me also didnt have a problem on her droid razr only in puerto rico she was roaming LOL and data didnt work at all on her razr only worked to call. But anyways i have been shocked how good at&t has worked in all my travels works as good as verizon in terms of coverage with the exception that at&t totally wins in puerto rico cuz at&t gets LTE in PR while verizon is roaming and only gets 1G (1x) . Well im happy with at&t because i get service everywhere i have gone to much better than my friends on t-mobile heck even my friends with boost get better service than my friends on t-mobile how embarrasing lol good thing i dnt have t-mobile.

I thought it was a 1.4 GHz dual-core exkynos processor

9. darkkjedii posted on 13 Feb 2012, 18:11 1

That processor isn't compatible with USA LTE yet.

I know it will do well with AT&T, but I wish T-Mobile could get a version, and/or that another manufacturer (HTC, Dell Steak 5.3?) would make something similar, as I'm not a fan of TouchWiz, and wouldn't care to root something with so many different features made exclusively for it

I am interested in this device for sure. It looks like a really nice device. I have a feeling a bit too big. Im kinda leaning towards the Xperia Ion though.

I don't know why they act like Super Amoled HD is nothing compared to Super Amoled Plus. There are pros and cons to both of them, but so far I haven't seen a video that describes this phone as it is. And WTF happened to the NFC capability? Samsung actually said that it did in fact have one. I just don't know understand what the hell is going on with all this BS false advertising.

This is a must get for me. Im a big guy (6'7" 235lbs) and ive wanted a phone thats big enough for my hands and also for my eyes because I have the Inspire and even its screen size is too small for me. The price has kept me away from upgrading to it right away, but my birthday is in march so i could get it then!

5 minutes on the contents of the box...who gives a s**t lets see the phone in action

I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one who thinks all the unboxing nonsense is a pile of inane geekery. Why can't people just post a picture like they used to? The time spent getting the video ready could be better spent on a review.

this phone is one sexy woman!

19. SavageLucy42 posted on 14 Feb 2012, 16:41

I understand that this phone may be too big for some people to handle. Hopefully I'll get a chance to play with it in store soon before I make my final decision on whether to get it.
