I also liked the note 1 more than the note 2 .
The note 1 felt special , the note 2 felt like a by product . Just a larger s3

Can't wait man... My OG-Note is phat like a phablet should be (16:10)... Which is why i didn't upgrade (16:9)blah to the Note II, but can do almost the same... Note III, i hope you're PHAT also. :)

Same here! I am running the leaked XLC, and it is fantastic, I can only imagine how much better they have made JB since, the only reason I think Samsung is holding back, is to get current note users to upgrade needlessly to the Note II, my 2 cents :-)

note 1 is also a a larger s2, and note 3 will be a larger s4, note series is a larger copy of the s series except s1
anyway, sony togari is gonna be the biggest, people often ask me if my note 1 fits in my pocket, answer is yes but it is sometimes awful to get it out of the pocket

You know most people who say they settled for the original are people who couldn't get the next best thing. So they tell them self that it's better but we all know that's not true

If I hadn't dropped my beloved Note 1 in the bathtub while Web surfing I'd be looking forward to this. As such, I'm on a new Note 2 now over $500 later and an expensive lesson learned
