Samsung Galaxy Note 4 massive specs shown in new leak

0. phoneArena 10 Jun 2014, 14:46 posted on

We're a few months removed from the announcement of Samsung's flagship for the first half of the year, the Galaxy S 5; and, we're still a few months away from the announcement for Samsung's second half flagship, the Galaxy Note 4. But, a new leak may be giving a much more clear picture of what to expect from the Note 4 and its potentially massive specs...

I sure hope samsung decicdes to add OIS to their cameras on the note series, and the thought of a 6" devices makes me happy. Now lets get some front facing speakers and we're in business!

Forget front facing speakers, its samsung bro. Its not in their tradition to add great music experience in their flagships specially stereo speakers. They will put decently adequate single speaker with same decently adequate headphone sound

I wouldn't say that. Samsung is known for putting all features into their phones that other vendors offer in order to deny other companies unique features. Latest example: Waterproof phones. That is why I would not exclude front facing speakers from the possible feature list.

I am rather worried about the design. If machines were about to create other machines, the devices would look like Samsung devices (cold and heartless). I cannot help myself, but I think Samsung devices look evil (even though they aren't of course).

This could never be done by Samsung for example.

Why not remove the loud speaker then? The point is that it should be better than in the past and hope (I'm sure they will) make it better

Why are you worried about front facing speakers so HTC fan saying samsung copy then.. who care about a camera

Worry more about bigger battery and better software and 805 chips. .. I really hope they don't make it bigger 5.7 is fine

I think it will be 5.9 inches this year with small increments in overall size. I hope it will be waterproof though.

What I would like is a bigger battery.

Samsung flagships used to feature the best audio chips out there. That's why their phones are so popular among the audiophile community. Music lovers don't really care about phone speakers, since the sound quality, as loud as it can be, is mediocre at best.

Why not the change the earpiece speaker to a loudspeaker. Mono front facing speaker is good enough!

OIS isn't better than DIS, S5 and Z2 proved that. Just check G3 vs S5 comparison posted few hours ago and you'll get my point.

I think Nokia would disagree with you here. Plus moving while recording on my s5 isn't very good. Don't even get me started on the terrible loud speaker either.. shower music isn't as good as I hoped it would be, still awesome to have my phone in the shower but could be louder. Reminds me of the note 3 speaker that was tiny for a big phone.

Actually I never had any complaints about the speaker on my old note 3, I guess the placement made it better than it was. As for the S5, It wasn't as loud as I wanted it to be so I flashed a mod of xda, and it is much better now, still Samsung should've went with the same stereo speakers found on the bottom of the tab 8.4, would've been a much better choice.

I 100,000% agree with Front-Facing speakers.

My next phone WILL have front-facing speakers, and I hope it does not have to be HTC, (but it may have to be if that is my only choice).

Bigger is great also ... (6.3"+ even)

But second priority is "brighter" for outdoor sun.

I agree about the front speakers. It should be a REQUIREMENT! :) I have no idea who ever thought it was a good idea to put the speaker on the back - they should be drawn and quartered!

I'd be perfectly fine with a small mono speaker also.. anything so I don't have to cup my hand behind the phone anymore to hear it.

You mean like water resistant phones, dust proof, FF speakers, 64 bit processors? Yep they sure do. Also the heart rate monitor on the back is no more accurate than a software based app on gp. I do agree they have paved the way for many trends but to act like they set all trends is just silly talk.

the only monster thing about these specs are the display, first of all phones have way more power than 98% of people know what to do with so the 805 only makes it a bit more future proof, 1080p is more then adequate and I'm assuming its gonna have 3gb of ram unless its on a 64bit chip in which case it might have 4 but all in all i don't think its gonna be too big an upgrade from the note 3 we should see the Z3 and M8 prime first imo

The Lg G2 was too big for me. It seems that anything above 5 inches starts to become too awkward for me to carry in a pocket. I want to forget that my phone is in my pocket and I don't want to adjust it every time I go to sit down. I actually think a smart watch with call abilities is what would be best for me. Most of my browsing and other things occur on an actual computer. I don't think I really need a smart phone to begin with, but a smart watch would be nice.
