Samsung Galaxy Note 3 preview: ask us all you want to know about it!

Currently, there are few smartphones hotter than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and we bet that many of you are eager to try it out personally. This, however, won't be happening until Samsung's new phablet is launched - the Galaxy Note 3 release date is set for September 25 internationally, while the US carriers will get it at a later date. Now, a week or so isn't that long of a period, so the wait is definitely bearable. But in case you're of the impatient type, 7 days may seem like forever, and that sucks, doesn't it? That's why we thought we'd spare you the anxiety and the sleepless nights...

I'm very curious about the exynos version of note 3. Would like to know if the HMP mode is functional unlike the SGS4 octa. If the Exynos chipset has been perfectly optimised then should see drastic improvement in battery life. Sony Z1 seem to drain more battery than SGS4 despite having bigger battery. By the way, LG G2's battery life is not too bad, slightly better than sgs4.

I like note 3 regardless of it's design. Samsung has done so well, a note inspired design differentiate itself from other phablets. Feature rich and one of a kind specs makes the note 3 more desirable to own. My questions are: 1. Does all the features of note 1 and 2 incorporate with the note 3? 2. With 0.2 more inches in size, is there difference with note 2 once you hold it? 3. With more improved s-pen, its hype still lives and will still help for the note 3 to dominate the phablet category? Lastly, do you think Samsung will still holds the crown in the phablet category with note 3 whereas other manufacturers are also joining the game like Sony and soon HTC?

Q: With the Note 2, if you wanted to back up S Note memos to Google Drive, a "SAMSUNG_S Note" folder was created for the .snb files. Does the new S Note app perform backup syncs in the same way? And are old .snb files fully compatible with the new S Note?
Q: What are all the differences between the old and new S Note app? For example, are there more pen settings? Is there an easier way to undo/redo?
Q: Does the S Pen have any calibration options -- for example, for adjusting the pressure sensitivity or the position offset on the screen? If so, is it via software or hardware? (The Note 2's pen had two tiny adjustment dials inside the pen itself if you removed the button cover.)
Q: Does the tail of the S-Pen get bumped or scratched easily since it sticks out so much when stored in the phone?

If I buy a Note 3 from US and send it to Philippines, will the Snapdragon 800 be compatible with the networks there? Will it work as it is? Because, I think the Snapdragon has better perks than that of Exynos. Thanks a lot! I am hoping for a response to my question. More power!

Is the FHD screen a bad pentile one like S3 or better pentile (diamond pentile) like in S4 or non-pentile like my Note 2????

I'm tired of Samsung's gimmicks. I'm tired of how they take their flagship model like the S4 and diluted the line with, how many, 4 or 5 different variations. BTW, when will they have software update to the Galaxy Note2?

Samsung Original Multimedia Dockingstation (HDMI, Line-Out, Ladekabel, microUSB) EDD-S20EWEGSTD ???

I just really want a compasision between this and the LG G2. Im making my decision moving from VirginMobile to tmobile for me and my wife. Its a big decision and a costly financial one i want to make the correct phone buying decision. Weve both currently own the samsung galaxy reverb and they freeze 3 times a day random shut downs and takes 10 seconds to get the phone book to open its just so im leaning to not buying a samsung EVER again.

I just wanted to know if the Note 3 have the old but gold feautres of the Note 2 like :
popup video : pops the video in a small window so you don't have to close the apps you running
popup note : a quick S note window opens when you draw the Spen for its place
double tap on top : returns you to the top of list
and another feauture called quick glance where you swipe your fist over the top and shows you the notifications panel
quick command : by holding the Spen button and swiping up
and many others that i want confirmation on ...
also the optical reader from the S4 !!!! .. because it is really a useful app especially if you are a traveller and visits a lot of foreign countries like me .. and thanks in advance

My question is about audio quality (I'm talking about watching HD movies with loudspeaker on Note 3). How is quality in comparing it to Note 2 lousdpeaker?
I'm interested particulary only in audio quality when using loudspeaker.
Will wait when ZeroLemon/Mugen will release extended batteries anyway for Note3.
3200mAh is no-go after you have used 9300mAh (ZeroLemon with Note2).

And my second question is: how much exactly free "user space" does 32GB model have? About 25Gb? Less? On Note2 16GB it was about 10GB if I remember correctly.
