Samsung Galaxy F rumored to launch in September as it takes on the Apple iPhone 6

0. phoneArena 02 Jul 2014, 17:35 posted on

We already have leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy F. This is the "premium" version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 that is expected to feature a 1440 x 2560 QHD screen, a metal body, the Snapdragon 805, and 3GB of RAM. In other words, this is the phone that many thought that the Galaxy S5 was going to be in the first place...

Typical samsung defense forces, closed minded and
immature.

Like it or not there is some facts that you should be able to accept.
In the eyes of all the rich, famous, smart or even the poor people Apple products have a better social status than any cheap looking samsung products and almost everyone would want to buy an iPhone if they are have enough money.
Apple also does not need to force famous people to use iPhone for marketing their products as samsung did. because they (the smart, rich and famous) will be happy to buy apple products.

Sometimes you guys think very little about the world. Apple is going to sell millions of the new iPhone but most will still be in the US. What about the rest of the world? That's what you guys don't get. Sammy dominates almost everywhere except the US. I have been observing many buyers and I can tell you only tech nerds like us really observe our galaxies when they stutter a lil bit. Most people don't even use their phones so much to even notice the lag or stutter. Sammy is not going down anytime soon. They have established a strong note buyers market and will continue to lead in that department. An iphab with no better functionality can't stand against the note series not even with apples loyal buyers.

What about the S6? Are they going to release another device less than 6 months after the galaxy F?

If that is true then:
Round 1.
GALAXY S vs iPhone.......iPhone WIN.
Round 2.
GALAXY F VS iPhone...... Pending

SAMSUNG:Apple = 1:0

Seems strange to abandon the S.

I have said this before & I say this again - there is unlikely to be a 5.5" iPhone. Apple took several years to go from 3.5" to 4. They will first test the waters with the 4.7 inch version. If it sells well, they could release a phablet sized version next year.

Apple follows a very aggressive profit making model. A lukewarm response to a 5.5" iPhone will hit profit margins. Let's not forget that Apple is big in just 3 places - the USA, Japan & western Europe. People there are affluent & generally have a separate device for gaming & media consumption. Many households have 3 devices - phone, tablet & PC. Naturally the emphasis is more on pocketability when buying a phone. With very few sub 5 inch current generation Android phones, the iPhone becomes the default high quality alternative. Apple is not likely to antagonize it's limited consumer base in a hurry with a phablet.

Samsung dominates in the rest of the world. People there typically have just the one device for calling & media consumption. For them no screen size is big enough.
