Just the other day, the unannounced Samsung Galaxy A9 appeared on a Geekbench benchmark test, revealing that the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 620 chipset carrying an octa-core CPU. The Adreno 510 GPU handles graphics. The Qualcomm SoC supports 4K video, which is something for you to consider once this device is released. And that could happen in less than a week. A new leak from the official Samsung Iran website reveals that the Galaxy A9 will launch on December 1st.
The phone will offer a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. That works out to a pixel density of 401ppi. 3GB of RAM is inside, along with 32GB of native storage. Those requiring additional memory can turn to the 128GB capacity microSD slot that is on board. A 16MP camera appears on back, while the 5MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video chats. A non-removable battery of unspecified capacity keeps the lights on, and Android 5.1.1 is pre-installed. Available in black, white and gold, the Galaxy A9 features a metal build.
