How would you like to more than double the battery life on your Samsung GALAXY Note II? It is as easy as ordering Mugen Power's new 6400mAh cell for the device; the extended battery comes with a larger back cover and costs $98.95...

Holy shit, that puts it squarely in tablet-sized battery capacity. notbad.jpg It's kind of expensive, but I know that some people would find it to be worth it. Personally, I think it would be a little better to just carry a spare battery, since I'm already used to doing so for my Thunderbolt.

I personally wouldn't want to open the back plate of the Note too often. I never liked those little plastic tabs that hold things in place and after so many pulls/reinserts, I'm sure it will either lose its rigid grip or break off altogether.
In comes this massive battery... if only they could cram that into the same enclosure... makes almost any case unusuable...

Different things work for different people, I get that. I just checked and it looks like my Thunderbolt also has plastic tabs. I've been taking the back plate off and on the entire time I've had it, which is since April 2011. It's not just holding on well, it's holding on very rigidly, as if it were new. I feel like the Note would respond much the same way. Worst case scenario is that you spend $3 to buy a new back plate after a while.

The only problem is you couldnt find a case that would fit it!

I love my note 2 due to its light weight of about 180 grams. buying this larger battrey will add up a huge size (thickness) and more weight. I prefer to buy extra genuine samsung battery 3100mAh cost about $40 since the back cover open for easy battery swap. That is what I did with my note2. Beside that the note 2 battery last me for about 6 to 7 hours watching divx videos. No thank you but I like to keep my phone weight and thickness to its lowest level.

Forget to mention that I would be interested more if they made a battery that is the same in size as the genuine battery but with extra amp say 4000mAh. I can live with extra weight but no extra thickness please. Now this battery is worth in my opinion about $60-$70 and I would be very interested on buying one as long as my phone dimensions stays the same with little extra weight is understandable due to larger battery capacity.

I agree no need for 6400 mAh battery. 3500 or 4000 mAh battery would be better. Worst case just buy another 3100 battery and be happy. I get 17 to 22plus hrs of battery life on my device daily. And that's with heavy usage daily i get 7 to 9hrs of on screen time with my Galaxy Note 2. Nothing tops this device on the market period.

Heck you would never have to charge your battery again!

Too expensive and not pratical. With that price, better buy 3 extra genuine Samsung battery with dock charger included and u got total 12 400 mah (4 x 3100 mah) to use. Never runs out of fuel again. :)

xD you'll be looking for a charger case for that buddy.

Yes the battery is way thicker so you will need to replace your original back cover with the included cover with this battery. So your phone will be about twice as thick. That is the bad thing about this battery. Don't forget also it will be much heavier your phone.

I have never been more impressed already with a battery that the note 2 has. I openly admit that I never used the razr maxx or hd maxx for that matter but the note 2s stock battery is double what I got with the sgs3.

Not interested because I dont spend hours watching videos . I want my Note2 just the way it is .

yeah, this wouldn't really be necessary for me as a daily driving battery because with my MAXX HD i actually can't use it heavily enough to drain it to 0% before my regular sleep cycle begins and i have time to charge it anyway and with light use it can get me through 2 days just fine. the Note II should be the same way just minus an hour or two. i would just get this for emergency situations. i'd be like "power outage for the next few days? RELEASE THE MUGEN!!!" ;D
