And that would be exactly where our story ends except that the picture of the phone allegedly used by the store, shows the GSM model of the device and of course Verizon handsets use CDMA technology. So we will continue to wait for Big Red to make the announcement that everyone is waiting for on pins and needles. As for the third party reseller in Minnesota, we put in a couple of calls to see if we could get some kind of response from them, but so far we are still waiting a call back.

Everyone is in luck. My buddy works for vzw and he's getting a training on the device early tomorrow. Looking pretty good that our wait is finally coming to an end. Ill be checking at midnight to see.

At my location, we have had the Nexus but were told not to sell until the 15th by the big wigs. We've already been telling our customers the 15th. Hopefully there are no more setbacks. PS, The phone runs amazingly.

C'mon now, Verizon isn't going to release it in the next 2 days. My best guess would be post-Christmas/first week of January, but I originally thought the beginning of November :X

And the Thunderbolt. So that makes all the big 3 of Android at Verizon with major delays (HTC, Motorola, and Samsung), and gives Big Red a chance to end 2012 the way they began: Making their customers wait on a greatly anticipated phone. There is something to be said for consistent business practices.

Well I work down the road about 1/2 mile from there so I will be taking a longer then usual lunch break IF it actually gets an official release. (Probably will go there regardless) just to see what they say.

I was told by a Verizon Rep that they may only sell this through 3rd party.. would be fine if that was true and they just release already

I was at both my local VZW & Best Buy stores today and both told me that the release was slated for Friday 12/16. The manager at my VZW store told me he just got off a conference call where they told him they could sell it on Friday not Thursday. He asked me if I wanted to play with the phone and had one of the associates go get it from the back of the store for me. Even he said he hopes nothing changes again because it was supposed to have been release last Friday 12/9. My local Best Buy claims they do not have it yet but I know they are full of crap because they are not supposed to let customers know that they are in stock. If it gets released on Friday, that would be great... Thursday? EVEN BETTER because I cannot wait to get rid of my Droid Razr for this bad boy. The verizon store said they have them in stock and even have accessories and extended batteries for them. I have one on reserve... fingers crossed for this week.

Who knows whats true these days? I wish there was a way to pay back verizon! Maybe google having their own carrier would be the pay back.
They have the power and the resources to do it!
Just put verizon out of buisness for all I care. Not a single word has come from verizon regaurding this phone. Not one f**king word. It's like they don't give two s**ts about the people that support them. Or what about a apology from what happened with the bionic! They are the worst when it comes to customer service!
Verizon start getting your s**t together!! Your losing thousands of customers a day soley on the fact your customer service sucks and you don't care or take steps to improve.
I have an idea release a online survey and let's see what everybody has to stay!!

Vzw is like that hot chicken head. She knows she got the looks so there's always a sucker willing to give her money and kiss her butt, vzw knows it has the best coverage so they can afford to have garbage customer service and still maintain their customers. Let me tell you they can do whatever they want because when your in a building and everyone cell phone has no signal except yours cause you have vzw its awesome lol I blame the other carriers if the other carriers worked well in nyc as good as vwz I would have left vwz a long time ago sadly the other carriers coverage sucks!

Just received a phone call from my local Verizon rep to set me up with an appointment for 9am TOMORROW to purchase my new Galaxy Nexus!!!
