It is a shame that a GOOGLE phone has BING for its search engine and does not have GOOGLE MAPS for navigator......

Use voice command navigate and search and google is the default, I find it faster then trying to type it anyway.

Just use the voice command function on the phone, the navigate function on it uses google maps and the search function on it uses google.

I heard that they took off the google search bar and replaced it with a Bing search bar(BS as it is a gogle phone and google made it free based on add rev) , witch will show you a map but no free turn by turn. Anyone know if there is a way of changing it. or if i can download the google nav from the market... thanks

Ok, I will explain this again, the google search bar isn't there, but google bypassed that by making the voice command default search, google search, and if you use the "navigate to" voice command it uses google maps. So, just use the voice command for searches and navigating and google is the default. I find the voice command function faster than trying to type it out anyway.

why only 348MB of ram compared to the incredible, droid 2, droid x, nexus one, evo which all have 512MB of ram?????

It has 512 like the rest of them, just a way better GPU so part of that is dedicated to video. All those other phones you mentioned have old GPUs and don't need dedicated slot. The SGS triumphs those phones on so many levels, especially form factor.
