Samsung Factor arrives on Sprint's pre-paid Boost Mobile network

Long-term contracts are not everyone's cup of tea and for those of you wishing for more simplicity in an affordable package, Boost Mobile, one of Sprint's pre-paid brands, has launched the Samsung Factor. The basic flip phone comes with a camera, access to the web, chat and email along with the usual voice service all for $49.99. Additional details were scarce – even the resolution of the camera wasn't announced, but for such a basic package we wouldn't expect much.

The Samsung Factor will be available on BoostMobile's website as well as at select retailers later today. Wider availability will follow in April.
