no major electronic device will have a release date because all companies are waiting for comet elenin to safely pass without event... where i work i just got hold of some docs that detail over 44 major devices held (iphone, ps vita.. stuck out to me) that will not be mass produced till sometime late October, and only half production.. one company will has already come up with each excuse it will use on a two month biases. sorta scary if you ask me but... why sell stuff thats just going to be EMP'd or and destroyed i guess it make sense..

"Most probably, we'll be treated to three phones in the form of the AT&T Attain, Sprint Within and T-Mobile Hercules, now that the Verizon Function is officially out of the game. " - Um, the Sprint version is the Epic 4G Touch, it hasn't been the Sprint Within in a while. I doubt the AT&T version will be the Attain, either.

It was pointless because everybody already knew what's in the SGS II... there was hardly anything that could surprise us. But still they had to make some event....

agreed. they basically told us a bunch of stuff we already know w/o telling us what we want to know: pricing, release date (though I guess that's stuff the carriers will announce on their own).

wtf. what a lame ass event. and they pushed a day back for this? its not worthy enough to be considered a live event.

I'm sure the reason why Verizon chose not to have the GSII is because they don't want to screw up the sales of the iPhone 5, which is bs!

So no mirrored hdmi out huh? Just that Samsung Media Hub thing I suppose? I wont get a phone without the hdmi mirrored feature. I mean how sick is it to be able to go to a friend or family members house with you phone, connect it to their hdmi tv and wifi connection, and then start streaming netflix or diffrent entertainment apps from your phone to their tv? Also with the mirrored experience anything that is being display on your phone is mirrored onto the tv so basically your tv becomes your phones screen. The only down fall is you still need to do everything through your phone. But its still awesome.

This phone is going to be bad ass. To bad Samsung is super slow with updates, I have seen a video of the infuse 4g still on froyo 2.2 along with the epic 4g. I really wanted this phone, but I would rather have the Photon 4g. Might not have a beast killer GPU but it still has a great tegra 2 GPU which plays all the emus and games I want perfect.
