No doubt, it’s not the hottest smartphone to come into the minds of most people, but nonetheless, the Samsung Exhibit II 4G is a decent device in its own right. Classified as a mid-range offering, you can probably pick it up for as low as free in contract form.

Interestingly enough, T-Mobile has a sale going on now for the smartphone – well, that’s as long as you’re thinking of going through the prepaid route. Normally attached with a $329.00 no-contract price point, the Samsung Exhibit II 4G is selling for a reasonable $225 online right now. For the price, not only do you get the phone, but you also qualify to get a free $50 T-Mobile refill card, which you can use towards your prepaid plan.

At that price point, it’s a pretty good deal considering that most post-paid devices selling outright are easily over $400 a pop. Plus, you’re getting back some kind of credit that you can use towards the service. Right now, there’s no word on how long this sale will last, but either way, you’d better make a snappy decision before it’s done altogether.

The Exhibit II are flying out of Walmart's stores at $199.99 and most people chose the $30 a month where you get 100 minutes and 5G of 4G data -- the screen is a bit small at 3.7" and it has a 3MP shooter in the rear.

If I didn't buy my Triumph with 300 minutes and unlimited data (first 2.5G at 3G speeds) at $25 a month with Virgin, I would have bought the Exhibit II.

I dying to try the nokia lumia 710 on that $30 prepaid plan. Hoping to get the phone under $200.
