| 18:53 | Carriers will be the ones to announce subsidized pricing. |

Google themselves already told us that android 2.2 would not be recommended to run Tablets unless it comes with Android 3.0. Some places having a chance to play with Galaxy S Tab confirmed that some market apps are not downloadable and some are not even adjusted to Galaxy S Tab's scale, thus leading to a funny and not centered images. I wanted to own one of those tablet too but after reading more into it, I suggest you to wait a little longer like what I am going to do. I think eventually I might get a hTC tablet or something with Android 3.0 with Tegra 2 chipset. Plus these tablets don't have S. Amoled screens, which is a bummer!

3 megapixel camera in the rear? I guess it's not meant to replace anyone's digital SLR or decent point & shoot. Makes you wonder why they have a rear camera at all. The front-facing cam is all a tablet really needs.

No wonder it's reportedly much less pricey than the Euro model. No phone?!? This was the whole reason I wanted it, and was planning on being first in line for it, because it looked like it was going to be an all-in-one device. At this point, it's a huge fail in my book. DOA. I'm due to get contract pricing on a new Verizon model in 6 weeks. Now it's either going to be the Droid X or an HTC (Desire HD, or Merge, or whatever). BTW, my current phone is a Samsung. They lost me with this bright move. I've also been holding off getting an e-reader because of this. So I guess Sammie has also shoved me toward the Kindle. Why should I pay for two data plans, for a phone AND the Tab? And, even if I was willing to pay another data fee for a tablet, why would I go for a 7-incher? This thing is a flop already.
