After struggling with losses in its LCD unit, Samsung Display Company, Samsung Electronics' board of directors today signed the paperwork to spin off the firm into a separate entity. Faltering demand and falling prices for LCD TVs have hurt the world's largest TV maker to the point that now it doesn't want anything to do with the pesky LCD business...

now that they are focused in OLED, try increasing the life span of it since organic products deteriorate fast than LCD.
