they can use UI of the first video .. it's much cooler than touchwiz .. if they can create nice UI in the concept video why not change the touchwiz to something like that

They put the most effort and money into R&D. Sure they can take some of the budget from marketing and add it into R & D and try to accelerate this future better, but unfortunately that's not how the world works.

If they don't make money they are in no position to accomplish this. They are doing it the right way though. Make some money and play with this stuff on the side with your profits.

Unlike Apple that just keeps every penny and doesn't even put a dime into R&D.

I dunno if I want my smartphone to be a flimsy sheet of "paper" that flips out of my wrist, but the concepts for the "smart home" are amazing. If this does indeed come to fruition, it will be quite the feat.

Touch Screen Coffee Tables would be Amazing, but All these ideas look outstanding, but with the current times, loads would not be able to Afford to Buy these concepts,Folding phones with 3 screens would be Amazing

Vision is good. Goals are good. Creating prior art before Apple patents it is very good. Whiny LG employees, not so good.

I don't think the foldable display is that far in the future and the video was realistic enough that the folds showed up as dark spaces rather than as part of the display. What is unrealistic is the total transparency. I would suspect we might see foldable displays where the initial frame is thicker and opaque and stores the battery and processors.

Go for it Sammy. Except for the Magic Phone . . . that just looks silly.

Great Ideas, Great concept.. But we are still about 20-25 years for this technology to become commercially viable.. With samsung's innovation & Research and development, i guess this technology would be available in 08-10 years.. Lead the way...

It's funny how technology worlds depicted in the commercials are always made to look so clean, but what the products are doing to do the world really is anything but creating a cleaner environment.
