Samsung Apps store now covers 109 countries, 14 million bada downloads to date
It looks like Samsung's own mobile OS - bada - is receiving some traction with 14 million application downloads from the Samsung Apps store up to this moment. At the first anniversary of the platform, the app catalog is already available in 109 countries.

Since there is only one bada phone currently on sale - the Samsung Wave - we'd assume Samsung has managed to sell quite a bit of those, given the 14 million downloads number. Similar to Android Market, Samsung Apps is tailored to each specific country the handset is sold. It does not show navigation software in a country with no coverage, or shows only free apps in places where online payments aren't wide-spread. Unfortunately Samsung didn't mention exactly how many applications are there in Samsung Apps.
