Actually, Samsung AND Verizon are to blame for the delay (and the other carriers for the delays on their respective Galaxy S versions)

Most of the unbranded Galaxy S phones in Europe have recieved their Froyo update.

But the ones that require more carrier customization will take longer to update.

Or you could do what people are increasingly doing, and head on over to the XDA site and get Froyo on there yourself! :) It's really easy.

exactly NONE of the galaxy S phone have gotten the 2.2 upgrade in the USA, makes me not want to buy a samsung

It will come and att and verizon are getting motorolas. Verizons has 4.3 inch and 8mp with 512RAm hdmi
ATT has 4 inch 1Gig of ram 5mp camera not sure about hdmi

Come on now, nobody was thinking of 1 gig of RAM until we heard of this Atrix. Let's be real, we've got along just fine without "1 gig of RAM" for a pretty long time now. Nobody needs that much on a cell phone.
