Every self-respecting OS should have its retro game console emulator, don't you think? Well, there's one already available for Windows RT, meaning that Microsoft's mobile platform just got a bit cooler. The app in question is called Snes8x and it's available for free at the Windows Marketplace for both Windows RT and Windows 8 Pro...

Another reason to get a windows 8 phone. I've got this same emulator on my ipad, but it had to be jailbroken in order to get it. That's awesome that the marketplace allows you to get it for free.

No. Preloading games may get the emulator's developer into a bit of a legal trouble.
