U.S. Internet services provider EarthLink Inc. and South Korea's SK Telecom have finalized the terms of their joint venture deal, forming SK-EarthLink. The new venture will be funded with $440 million of partner investments over the next three years. SK-EarthLink plans to start reselling mobile phone services and CDMA EV-DO high speed data handsets in the third quarter of 2005. Although Sprint is rumored as the "main partner”, SK-EarthLink still hasn't officially announced which wireless network providers they will work with.
