They aren't yanking anything. Just think of the app as RDP that utlizes the touchscreen. You still need a Win 8 Machine running somewhere.

Chakra is correct. Also, unlike OnLive, you are providing your own license for Microsoft’s software (albeit, the customer preview is free right now, but it is still licensed with a EULA and whatnot), so Splashtop is simply providing the connection between the two devices, not any actual Windows software.

yea its basically just streaming from your PC to your ipad. . its not actually installing windows on the ipad itself.
