Rumored camera grip case for the Nokia EOS leaks with 1020 mAh battery pack and tripod mount

That Camera Grip thingy that went through the FCC recently heading to the stores as a Nokia EOS aka Lumia 1020 accessory? Well, it might not only be bringing a more camera-centric look to your Nokia EOS, but add battery juice, as well as a tripod mount, too.

The case leaked on a Russian website, claiming it's the real deal, and indeed there is the signature round opening for the huge 41 MP camera unit we've seen in alleged photos of the EOS, and a dedicated shutter key. Add to this a tripod mount and an additional 1020 mAh battery pack, and this accessory might be a must-have for your roadtrip, if it turns out to be legit. We'll know soon enough, as Nokia's event is scheduled for Thursday.

It clearly says its an "accessory", as in situational and removable when not in use. It's a smart move.

Why does Nokia taunt me so? I've already saved to buy a Lumia 925 as soon as it hits T-Mobile stores, now I think that I'll just skip on it and buy the "EOS". I am hoping the Camera Grip accessory has a tripod mount screw-hole built-in and not as a secondary accessory, but if so, I'll wind up getting both either way. SO. MUCH. WANT!

You'll have to by an unlocked version. EOS is supposed to be an AT&T exclusive at launch.
