Rumor says HTC may produce a Windows Phone version of the One

0. phoneArena 21 Jun 2013, 15:53 posted on

General consensus is that the HTC One is one of the best smartphones on the market. It has amazing industrial design, and a spec sheet that can compete with anyone. But, what if you don't really want Android, and would prefer to have a Windows Phone HTC One? Well, that may soon be possible according to a new rumor...

What customizations are needed for beats and UP cameras? Does beats work differently on the htc wp8x than on the HTC one?

HTC One dual front speakers have built-in amplifiers

The 8x has both an amp and beats audio so it is indeed a possibility.

Beats is apparently just an audio Codex and audio decoder. They should be able to give it to the WP version.

The camera though is the harder part. They use a TON of custom drivers & software to make the pictures look great. Not sure if that could be brought to the WP version of the phone or not.

In a way it's kind of true. When ever you think of Windows Phone you think of Nokia (or at least I do).

Lame.
Nokia isnt suing for "scrolls" or "rounded corners", but various hardware designs they came up with, which i think is appropriate.
You are not even trying to differentiate a legit claim from lawsuit trolls.

I agree w/ you! I love the Windows Phone 8 software, but it's the hardware that I don't appreciate from Nokia and Samsung, nor am I a fan of the HTC 8X hardware. But If HTC makes a WP8 version of the HTC One, I would definitely buy it in a heartbeat.

Good work htc.....I have the 8s and quite a reliable phone but I have to admit I prefer my galaxy s, that means at my next update I'll probably go back to android but HTC have created a wp experience just as good as Nokia can!

L920 is big but it is still much much much thinner than S4 Zoom!
Once I throwed S4 Zoom at elephant, it got died.
Take that!!

Who cares about wp8

Samsung never ever relies on Wp
Neither is it bringing any profits nor shares

It's just to keep other consumers happy

Then why did they release "Ativ S" if they do not care about WP?
And why are they releasing Windows tablets
