lol, that's what I say about the iPhone. Let another carrier get it already so it's not stuck on at&t's shotty 3G coverage. I'll never get one so long it's on at&t. Good thing the Pre is coming my way. Now I don't feel so envious.

That's true. The App Store doesn't let you do that. And I have paid and prayed before. But the app store does have free lite versions of a lot of apps (especially the more expensive ones). But when phonearena says free demo for every app, do they mean that the full capabilities of the application will be present or is it like a lite version avaliable for all the apps? And is this only avaliable at launch or will Pre users still be able to get demos months after launch? It would be really cool if they offer this feature permanently but kind of pointless if they don't since not that many people are getting the phone until July/August.

i would assume the demos will be lite... otherwise you could crack the application and get it for free.

I think you will see cracked apps (once they are no longer free) regarless of how the trails are done. A lot of the lite apps I see just have advertising in them and the paid ones don't. Personlly I would rather see a 48 hour trail of the full-blown app that will just no longer open once you have had it for that amount of time.
