The folks over at Feral Interactive, a studio specialize in porting games to iOS and Mac platforms, have just confirmed their latest work, Rome: Total War is now available to anyone who wants to play one of the best real-time strategy games of all time.

As the title says, Rome: Total War is meant for the iPads, which makes perfect sense considering that you'll have maneuver huge armies on the battlefield almost all the time.

That being said, the developers confirmed the game should work flawlessly on the following Apple tablets: first generation iPad Air or newer, iPad mini 2 or newer, or any iPad Pro. If you own one of these devices the only other thing that you must do in order to start playing Rome: Total War is to pay the $9.99 price.

If you haven't played any Total War games, then you should know that all of them offer epic scale battles between huge armies. Rome: Total War features seamless integration of strategy and tactics, but at the same time it allows players to use diplomacy, subterfuge and assassination to make their fights much easier and achieve victory quicker.

For of you who have been waiting for Rome: Total War since it was announced months ago, keep in mind that the game is quite big and requires at least 4GB storage.

Let's hope Feral Interactive did a great job with Rome: Total War and there won't be any issues with the controls or with the overall performance of the game.
