Rogers RAZR owners finally seeing OTA ICS upgrade
We here in the states have had Ice Cream Sandwich on our Motorola Droid RAZRs for what seems like a while now and two weeks ago we got reports that select GSM RAZRs started to receive the update.

MobileSyrup is reporting that Motorola RAZR handsets on Canadian carrier Rogers are finally receiving the update. Originally Motorola Canada had slated this upgrade to occur in “late August”, but later moved the projected date to “early September.”

Several users are reporting that they were pushed the 4.0.4 update OTA and that it can also be pulled via the menus. If you have a RAZR on Rogers, let us know in the comments below if you were able to grab this update.

DON'T DO IT!!

Take a look at various forums out there! This ICS update is a mess. I just updated my unlocked Razr Maxx and I've had nothing but problems. Yeah, the interface looks cool, but I can't take a photo on my phone because it can't save it, I can't screenshot because I can't save a photo, I can't access the gallery at all, my battery life has been sliced in half, and it freezes constantly. I advise users to stay away from this update. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with my phone now.

Standard Razr, not unlocked on Rogers, no problems as mentioned above
