no blackberry doesn't play nice, they steal the "rubber-band" effect from ios, like samsung does, but they don't get sued because they're not seen as a threat for apple because RIm has only 4.8% of market share worldwide,

blackberry will never get sued because they're not seen as a threat for competitor, even if they created a phone that looks similiar to the iPhone! (bb 10 proto for developer)

Well really no one knows what for Samsung is paying M$ as when Court wanted (in relation to what samsung was asking for from apple for licensing fees) the licensing deals to be kept on table then both M$ and IBM were running to court not to allow it in name of NDA/NDC/Business secret ... some say that M$ says this "Linux is infringing on patents" but then licenses them out for peanuts. If M$ told what patents Linux is infringing upon perhaps they could lose lot of money ... It's all shady deals when it comes to cros licensing. It's like kissing each other's butt to keep each other happy and disallowing new player in market. This is all where these sick patent systems is taking us to.
