You might recall Republic Wireless and its $19 a month service that uses Wi-Fi for calls and data with some cellular service to fill in the gaps; users of the single-band Motorola DEFY XT were not getting coverage in areas with only 800MHz signals which has led to the production of a dual-band DEFY XT...
