Republic Wireless offers price cut on Motorola DEFY XT teamed with higher priced unlimited plan

Republic Wireless offers a $19 a month unlimited talk, text and internet service using VoIP and Sprint's 3G network; for those who don't want to spend $249 for the Motorola DEFY XT, the only phone that currently works with the plan, Republic will sell it to you for $99 but you will have to pay $29 a month for unlimited service...

I originally thought that Republic had a chance with this idea. Now T-mobile has free wifi calling on far better Android devices and this monthly price point can be nearly reached if you go with the T-mo $30 per month plan
