Why can these monster companies buy eachother, but AT&T couldn't buy T-mobile?
Is it the Market?

nah, vertical expansion isnt as anti-competitive as horizontal is all. at&t-mobile would have been a monster that basically centered around providing a single service (cell service). googlerola is more like google trying to manufacture its own products. instead of taking over a single industry they are trying to spread into another (cell OS & Hardware [+ everything else google does]). since there is still the same amount of competition facing googlerola its not as anti-competitive as at&t-mobile.
does that make more sense? it is kind of hard for me to tell when i am the one typing it.

I still think that your article on the subject of what Google may do with Motorola to be the best insight on the subject, Michael.
Either way, as I stated before, I think replacing Jha was the right move. He has fizzled out over the past year as a leader.

I think it time for Samsung to change the game and focus on window 8 phones and show google that this is a low blow in deals of loyalty and at the same time make competition to Nokia and step up the game on Nokia of who can make the best windows phone and give apple a run for the money and make google eat it's patents that it's just using cause they have copied ideas from apple and had a chance to pay royalties on but want to just get rich over night riding apples back. And for the record it's true apple did use and copy things from Nokia but at least they settled out of court and paying Nokia.
