Pretty much. A person would get much less out of his or her device by trading it in at Game Stop.

Trading stuff in at gamestop isn't as bad as people make it seem, They are a business just like android manufacturers and are a business to make profit not to make you happy. Plus i got $130 yesterday for like 4 games.

I tried buying a used game from them and 1 week after i bought it it stoped working. The warrenty was only good for a week. Learned my lesson. It was a fairly good price thiugh.

Well, if you are doing a trade in with them, look up online with other places on what value you can get. Radio Sahck would probably be a better deal at this point.

Radio "Sahck?" i didnt know that was a company xD lol jk i know what you meant man. And @biophone i understand it stopped working but the gamestop receipt says that you may return a used game within 14 days of original purchase, and at the 8 years ive shopped at gamestop and 100 games ive purchased only maybe one or 2 did not work.

another benefit of used games at gamestop, is if you bring the used game back within a week, you get full money/credit back. Basically its a free 1 week rental. :)

There's nothing wrong with their pricing. Sometimes its a bit weak like when they offered me 25 cents for halo 3, and sometimes its pretty good. Its the most benefit to the hardcore gamers that run through games weekly. Buy it used for like 45 have it for a few weeks, resell it back for 35. Your not going to get much for old games, but if you think of it as a glorified rental service then the pricing is much cheaper than other options. :)

In my local area we have a 14 day return time.

Those who got pissed off with Mass Effect 3 endings can exchange their copy at Gamestop for a free Samsung Galaxy 2 with 2yrs contract.

That would be a sweet deal.

It would be...
In a perfect world.
