Report says shipments of panels for Motorola and Nokia models drop

While the third quarter is usually the time of the year when manufacturers do the bulk of their buying for consumer products, it seems that shipments of panels for Motorola and Nokia handsets are dropping, most likely due to high end models from Apple and Samsung...

well thats about to change.. now that samsung is caught cheating so motorola will take off...i think its time for google to make a Razr Nexus for motorola, its not unfair since they own them.. and android is free... and nokia will be the beast of WP...

I think there are 2 major problems for Moto: design and price.

most old moto's models have thick bezels and humps and the shapes are not steamlined.

Moto's phones are about 50-100 bucks more expensive than similar specced SS and HTC's phones.

I don't think software is a problem for Motorola.
