Razer's Edge tablet designed for PC-style mobile gaming

0. phoneArena posted on 08 Jan 2013, 14:05

If you're looking for a run of the mill tablet, at $999 the Edge from Razer is certainly not it, but if you seek a mobile gaming experience than this is the tablet you will be wanting; with a number of accessories available, you can take the PC gaming experience on the road and even purchase additional battery power to let you play until your parents let you back in the house...

I had no idea you can carry your PC around comfortably in a backpack to play on the go. My mistake, and to think people actually waste their time on portable gaming devices.

this is a laptop with the keyboard dock. this has the full W8 experience with top notch hardware. the price, weight, portability and modular options are the selling points here.

This tablet function like a pc because it is a pc. Just add the keyboard duck and you just turned this tablet to a fully laptop. I really love this tablet but I will wait to see how much and when the keyboard duck will be available because this is a must for me.
Laptop is fading away and tablet will be the leaders specially the one with keyboard duck.

The device itself looks pretty cool, but $250 for that controller dock? SERIOUSLY!?

To expensive for a slate. At that price range I would prefer a gaming laptop.

Very cool tablet. Not a very good price. For what it's worth you are getting a very good portable game system but you're over paying for the Razer brand/logo. And then you have to pay for all the accessories to really make it worth playing and daily use.

I just hope to see more gaming tablets like this in near future. Hopefully much better priced.
