Customer: Hi, Do you have the Palm Pre? Radioshack: No we got this HTC Snap tho...

Yeah, that is the unfortunate truth however. Anytime someone asks for an Iphone, or Pre, or what have you, we are told to "offer what we do have." That's the world of retail sales for you. But, in late July/early August RadioShack will finally have the Pre nationwide. I just hope there's still a demand for it then.

I phone...nothing. The PRE will for sure still have a demand. Who cares about the i phone now. And as for the upgrade. That sucks...sorry i phone users. The upgrade is nothing to brag about.

Ya, a Radio Shack sales guy told me that they would sell more Pres in August than Sprint would from launch to August. I thought that was funny. Cus when I think buying a new Sprint phone I dont think of Ripoff Shack. Interesting tho they had the 800w for $9.99 after rebate. Great deal. Too bad its old and suck. :)

There is no sort of rip off when it comes to cellular sales at RadioShack. Not enough people do think RadioShack when they think about buying their new Sprint or AT&T phone. You get cheaper prices. You get INSTANT rebates. You get what you want at a great price. You won't find the same wide selection that you find in a Sprint store, no. You won't find salesmen with highly demanding Family Plan Attach rates, Feature Add-On Rates, and Insurace add-on rates. As long as you're dealing with someone who has been there a little while and knows the systems, you can get in and get out. No waiting list to sign up for upon entering the door. But yeah, that is a foolish comment about us selling more Pres than Sprint stores.
