Do not get an iphone4 with Sprint - yeah unlimited data with very limited speeds - 4S is good with Verizon 4S and even better for data, not voice, on AT&T. Of course, if you want speed get a Verizon or AT&T 4G LTE phone.

Why go to radio shack? Same price as apple or corp retail store, no benefit here. Likely just a reduction in service and set up of the device. Sprint is the worst network for iPhone anyhow, I'd rather have it on AT&T. And AT&T stinks too. Go get yourself a nice droid.

No waiting in line. No benefit with the iPhone, but generally they have lower prices and no mail-in rebates like the carrier stores. And a lot of people (possibly the majority) don't like to order online.

Get a Verizon LTE phone. More coverage and more choices. Plus right now they doubLe your data pack to 4gb for no extra cost. Total win.

I ended up getting the RAZR, but had planned on getting a 4S (I know 3 people with the 4S and none of them are getting more than 20 hours so I went with the RAZR)
I had planned on getting it from the Apple store directly, because I've heard if you need warranty support it is a LOT easier if you buy it from the Apple Store.
When the iPhone 5 comes out, I'll be there (Hope it looks like an advanced iTouch!, like the model that Steve Jobs ALLEGEDLY axed)
I have Verizon, and played with my bosses iPhone 4 and on Verizon it works beautifully, streamed a movie from Netflix on 3G with no problems (It looked great too), and that is one of the biggest bandwidth hogs I know of so....
