Most of the people in the united states just seem to be so blinded & fanboys trying to be sooo cool in "hating BlackBerry" because Android is such a hit right now & hating RIM is just the popular thing to do.. Oh well.. BlackBerry has its own market and they couldn't care less about Android fanboys ditching their products.. Couldnt blame them.. BlackBerry is made for smart people..

most of the people in india are not geeks i mean they dont know what is happening in the smartphone world they only buy the phone for names if they have a good budget they will but something from apple or even blackberry cause it was a very popular name 2-3 years ago and android is also selling well in india cause is created a buzz

so i think blackberry have a real chance in india cause if they will make good ads people will buy it
yes in india people buy names not products
1. apple
2. samsung
3. blackberry

That is not entirely true! I'm an indian and i know many others who are interested in tech :-)
Yah,many people here buy apple product as a status symbol.
Samsung is becoming popular mainly due to their budget offerings.
and blackberry is considered as bussiness and messaging device.

x7black7x............I'm an indian myself..........Agree wid u hafiz....But the rest think of our market as an unaware one.................and the consumer market over here is the most educated and aware in terms of market releases and dwellings..............................blackberry is famous over here cause carriers offer great deals for BBM services...........................and other stuff....................................Same for iphone and android devices........................................... .......its just a preference.......

Bout 90% Indians have hardly any leisure time to sit around and attain any euphoric feelin of havin a smartphone cause everyone's sloggin their arms and feet to make the economy much more stable and better soo much that we've got foreign presidents comin up to us for jobs!!!!!

Our market offers much more for such companies.......hence higher sales index.

And yes..............we've got the worlds second largest population........and bout every phone manufacturer out there over here!!!

So its an endorsement battle to gain customer support towards a certain company!!!

Dont just spout out any illegitimate stuff that has no logic!!!!!

And we buy products for every instance.,.....................not names!!!!
