This is the second time I have heard the CEO of RIM say something stupid. this may explain why RIM and Blackberry have fallen behind the curve and why more people are switching to Android and Apple.

I'm going to have to agree with you as to what Lazaridis is saying. If 4G lives up to the expectations that seem to be getting set, then video will very much be a "killer app". Hell, I browse YouTube on my Storm all the time. A friend of mine with an HTC Imagio loves the digital TV function (though that's different signaling). This guy can't see except what's right in front of his face apparently. As a RIMM shareholder, I'm going to write him and demand that he start thinking before he speaks...this is ridiculous.

As a Rim shareholder, I recommend you sell and buy Google! lolz

Remember this is the same man who said all-touch phones were a "fad" and it wouldn't catch on, then me makes the storm to satisfy the demand of RIM users leaving for iPhones, Touch Diamonds, etc, so he caves in to make the storm series (which has been very successful)... "Hi Kettle, let me introduce myself. M'names Pot, nice to meet you!"

Years ahead is the key statement you just made. I am waiting for all this stuff to start to come out because the U.S.A is hella late I should be able to host a 3 way video convo on my cell phone by now and we should be on 5G technology not 4G. Every carrier should have decent calling not as many drops as they have not including metro because they just dont have the power yet ..
