RIM posts BlackBerry Torch 9850 promo video featuring... Android
Is the new BlackBerry Torch 9850 running Android? Well, not that we know of -- last time we reviewed it, the handset featured BlackBerry OS 7, but this latest promo for the Torch uploaded by RIM shows an Android home button on a device running what looks like Google’s platform. An interesting way to promote a ‘Berry, isn’t it RIM? Except, that’s most probably an Android handset which the Canadian company mistook for one of its own Torches.

The video was pulled shortly after getting on the web, but Engadget managed to snatch a copy – check out the 15 and 27 second marks where the device appears in all of its BlackBerry-esque Android glory. Any idea of what the device actually is?

If Google would have been like Apple - they would have sued them. Already.

Thankfully, they're not.

That's not BB at all. It is just a clip of someone using their, HTC or whatever, phone to text, while they are at the BB expo.
It's like someone snapping picture of you texting off of HTC in an apple store and saying look it's an iPhone with Android on it.

This is how BS rumors start.
