Why on earth would apple sue them ?

yea they really have no reason too, apple is grossly ahead of bb in sales, and i dont think apples expecting them to return.

Will give the Torch 9810 a look. Hope RIM stops the bleeding. None of these devices will blow the sales away from top end Android devices or the iPhone, but if BBOS7 is really good and the touch screens are responsive, it may make W7 Mango work a little harder. Or, they could not grab anyone but their most loyal fans, and RIM may drop below 20% smartphone sales for the first time since.... well, close to forever.

I'm very disappointed with the new torch. Besides the processor and new OS, hardly anything changed! They could at the very least have put in an 8MP camera!

I can't wait to see the prices for these devices compared to over phones. Blackberry devices shouldn't be over 200 no matter what carrier. These phones offer features that are pretty much stock now on most devices that come out.

I could see these new Blackberry's being apart of Verizons BOGO promo

Yawn. This is the best RIM can do? I guess they still haven't learned their lesson from the last exclusive launch they did with AT&T - that exercise saw the handset discounted to $0 before 3 months had run.

Grow up... And start using culturally relevant terms.

Typo in the second paragraph: it's the 9810, not the 8910.

So the 9810 is an AT&T exclusive 4G device, whereas the others are 3G only, one for CDMA, the other for GSM, if I understand this correctly?

Well HSPA+ is not the real 4G, LTE yes! These guys are a great match to my original incredible and the Droid 2 respectively handsets from last year! And again they won't be available for months! I can't believe it RIM is done!

The 9850 would be cool if iit were on Verizon's 4g LTE IMHO. I like surepress honestly. I just started using the storm 2 as my work phone and it brings back memories of how much I loved my original storm with a beefed up processor, surepress, and LTE Blackberry would probably gain me back as a customer on my primary handset.

sorry for the poor punctuation, etc. Typing long messages on my phone makes my ADHD go crazy.

I cannot wait for these new phones to go on sale. I think that these phones will help RIM, but not like what the QNX phone would do. Definitely though, a lot of people will buy this, including me

first of all Android sucks so bad its hella cheep too! the iphone is good and blackberry is grate! all tho they have been falling off because they can add all the new good features but dont >.< like front face camera i can go on but oh well either way world wide blackberry is #2 the #1 spot apple who knew? haha so yeah....

i agree, the android phones have the specs, but they are too much for the platform which results in lag. single is better and this dual core bit is a waste until a platform can utilize it

Well finally we have some serious devices from RIM, oh wait It's 2011 already! Oh they're not out yet? Crap! Never mind, lol

i really like blackberry, their os may be boring, but you could get around it. i have had many bberrys in the past and ive really liked all of them. the one thing i liked about them is that they were fast, so with a 1.2 ghz processor, these phones will be very fast.
although they lost me when they said at&t and sprint bberrys only, that irks me.

The devices will be out by the end of the month. That's not long to wait at all. These new devices will definitely go a long way in helping Rim keep market share. They may even gain some.

Hey folks, need some suggestions. I have been using the BB storm 1 and now 2, need to upgrade, the catch is my company will only support Iphone or BB and Verzion works the best for me. Live in a 4g area and want the latest and greatest..Looks like ATT has locked up all the new phones coming out/
