After leaked pictures of the BB Storm 2 seemed to show that SurePress was done for, RIM's Co-CEO has said otherwise...

The leaked pictures also showed that the camera was a 3.2, rather than the 5 that RIM's Co-CEO said was going to be on it 2 months back. I think at this point we really don't know what to expect, seeing they are still working on the phone. Anything can happen before they actually release it. I still say they should focus on fixing the first one, the one I have sucks and if it was my company. I would be more concerned about getting an OS that is stable, than worrying about getting out a new phone. Cause then we still have the same problem of crappy software. I personally hate the surepress on my Storm, and I am sure others may actually love it. To each it's own. I've played with the Iphone and the typing was so easy compaired to my typing on the Storm. So it would be cool if they got away from Surepress. I hope phonearena realizes that what is seen in pre-production is not always coming out that way, it's just like concept cars at the auto-show.

Its a rare occassion when I agree with most of the others voicing there opinon. I dont really mind the sure press either, however I also have played with an iphone and like the true type method better. The only thing I dont like about my storm is the internet response and how slow it can be. Beyond that I need for people to define crappy or unstable os because I have had no real issues. I think the reason there coming out with the oden is to address the issue of adding a wifi radio, if it has a 5 mega pixal camera so be it if it remains 3.2 thats still pretty good for a phone.
